I will admit.. I was a little concerned about Cotto after that fight. But he says he's OK. Whatever. He don't want no parts of PW. That is a NO-NO! He's trying to bounce back. He don't need to be bounced into the seats...

Cotto ain't gonna deliver for a full 12. He will be out by Round 6. You think he got the beard for PW? Yall let that Margo fight fool you. Paul hit Tony with some good shots, and will tatoo Cotto's little ass. After Round 5 or so, when things slow down a bit, he will get the **** beat out of him in one of those corners.

Cotto can counter real good and PTP has terrible defense. While Paul is bombing, Cotto will counter by getting inside and do his work. Bad fight for Williams.

Paul has a solid chin...he ate plenty of Margs punches to walk away confident of this notion. Cotto will land but not at will...Paul is very crafty in his young age and while he has a chance at beating Paul it's about as good as his chances at beating Marg....acctually he has a better chance at beating Marg than he does Paul. And no.....you won't see Paul clinch....you'll see cotto clinch before Paul.

Paul has been getting better each fight defensively, you had his improving defense, workrate, and pop to Cotto's willingness to stand and trade coupled with his shakey chin = problems for Cotto.

Terrible? I suggest a sport you can comprehend. Paul did a damn good job with Verno....did a lot better than Ike which isn't saying too much and did better than Corey that's for sure. He had a nasty cut in the 1st or 2nd round and still was cool, calm and composed enough to end the fight early.

No...even if Paul got to Cotto before hand....I'm not knocking Cotto..he is a great fighter with a lot of heart. But Paul is just too damn big for Cotto. Take away the height and reach, then comes the problem of Pauls abnormal stamina and punch out put....that alone is trouble having to have good enough "D" to avoid 1200 punches over 12 rounds. Cotto will be back and he'll get better from the loss but he needs a confidence booster.....if he gets in there NOW with Paul that's his ass. The only way Cotto is able to beat Paul is to beat Paul on the inside. He should be able to b/c he has the shorter arms, more compact punches but we've seen Paul fight very successfully on the inside with almost all of his opponents.

Was your TV not working during the rematch?

You are the funniest personon this site. you hold that first Quintana fight so close to your heart as if nothing ver happened before or after then. Aren't you the same jackass who wants to judge Margo by his recent fights? But now you want to keep talking about Williams earlier ones.... :huh

Quintana had Williams stumbling... Cotto wouldn't let him off the hook.

No...my logic witnessing what happened in the 1st Quintana fight was..."Paul must not be 100%". He just didn't look like Paul...his punch output was very low....lethargic, no jab, getting tagged with lead rights by Carlos.

Ther was no movement or fire! It was an off night. The rematch proved that #1....Paul has power and #1...The first fight was a fluke.

Regarding my versitility remark...Paul doesn't get any credit for the skills he shows in the ring.. It's amazing that a kid with his physical demensions can fight tall or fight on the inside with great affect.

Cotto fights very well on the outside....he's alright on the inside as long as the fighter on the inside is not stronger or more skilled. Cotto can't beat Marg on the Inside where Paul can.

Paul had early success fighting Marg on the inside and when Marg started to find his rythm and began beating Paul on the outside you saw Paul adapt....begin to fight Tall and took away Margs late round momentum.

Both Cotto and Paul have a nice array of punches that they both use very well....but with the physical advantages that Paul hold over most WW or maybe all is that his punches may take a little longer to hit their mark, but it's also very hard for his opponents to get clear of the end of his punches as we saw with Kolle and the 2nd Quintana fight.

The only disadvantages Cotto has is size and height/reach. I can c PTP just working hard from the outside, keeping distance. I also can c Cotto finding a way to get inside and do damage. Verno Phillips landed a good amount on Paul. I think Miguel is a couple notches above Verno.

I cringe at these threads cause I hate to pick against Cotto but PTP by ko.
