    Paul didn't beat MArg on the inside early. Williams fought smart. He threw soft quick punches, then held or clinched after he got his taps off.

    You, my friend, are an idiot.

    Margarito never even had Paul stumbling.

    STFU!

    Sure he did...Paul was on the inside scoring with punches that did little damage and he had Marg off balance and unable to mount any kind of offense b/c of his methods early on. He would turn Marg, bang away on the inside and turn him again. Paul and Marg didn't hold in that fight...well..at least not until the later rounds.

    Miguel may be a couple of notches above Verno in speed, reflexes, and technique, but I don't think he is above him in power.

    paul williams is clearly a faster puncher
    i dont know about strength but paul williams has the advantage in speed

    and i just think paul has power in both hands, comfortable using both hands, can throw jabs, hooks & uppercuts to the head or body with both hands...

    his punching arsenal is one of the most under looked parts of his game

    Those two are like:

    Margarito: ------> :boxer
    Paul ------------>:boxx

    There is no comparing their speed.

    Cotto ain't got the chin to take it the distance. Either he stops PW (fat chance) or he gets pulverized...

    End of story.

    Finally some sense has been restored to this thread.:good Williams beats the **** outta Cotto period. He has the styles advantage in this fight he's a nightmare for Cotto. I actually would pick Williams to stop Cotto faster than Margo did due to the fact he's a southpaw, has faster handspeed, more verstile, throws more and starts from the opening bell. Cotto's weak chin and lack of stamina would be his undoing against a freak like Williams just like it was against Margo. Williams by TKO:deal

    Wrong! It's actually the other way around. Williams is a stylistic nightmare for Cotto.:deal Cotto can't handle pressure fighters he does better against boxers.
