I agree with this. On the other hand, if Froch really wants to make it big, and it seems that he does, he should jump at a chance to come and fight in the USA. If he can produce another Pavlik #1 against Jermain Taylor that would certainly help him get some recognition.

froch dont need taylor or fights in america. all the top guys at super middle are european with big followings so get them on in the uk or europe. kessler v froch sells in any country in europe both on ppv and tickets. i

don't think the pavlik fight will happen at all, lost to him twice i doubt anyones intrested in seeing it again.
again i doubt the hopkins fight will happen, i do see kessler as the top fight but will taylor fight him?

I generally agree that you go to where the champion is. However, I wonder what HBO would think about broadcasting a fight like that. I doubt they would want to do a live airing like they will with Klitschko this Saturday. Would the English fans be okay with a 2 AM bout time? I know that HBO is not the only element that goes into making a fight, but the amount of money they can provide for U.S. television rights certainly will influence things.

HBO wants to broadcast more fights that take place in the USA. I read that somewhere recently.

I'd wager more viewers watched Carl Froch's fight on Saturday night than have ever watched any of Jermaine Taylor's fights.

Maybe Taylor should come over the UK and he might become a bigger star :deal

Taylor wanting Froch in North America is fresh news. Dibella had hopes of drawing Calzaghe out. As far as Kessler goes I'm sure JT would fight him. Look at the record; BHop x 2, winky, Pavlik x 2, and JT is willing to make it 3. Taylor ducks no one, and he isn't going to start with Kessler.

As a Taylor fan I want the Froch fight. Jermain is way to fast and mobile for Froch. Plus, personally I'd like to see him fight one more time at 168 before he takes on the divisions best. Taylor beats Froch, becomes a 2 division world titlist, Taylor/Kessler becomes a huge unification fight.

65000 at Calzaghe v Kessler at 1.30am, 23000 at Haye v Maccarinelli at 1am, 24000 at Hatton v Tszyu at 2am, do I need to go on?

2am is fine i could defo live with that.
it just seems that there are a few top draw british fighters that we cant stay up or afford to watch.
it was watching the froch pascal fight that brought it home.
it was free and on at a reasonable time. im not sure what time it was on where you are but im sure it wasnt to bad.
airing all there fights in the us does nothing for there home fan base.
i mean most people wouldnt known who joe calzaghe was.
    and that is just stupid.

i don't think jermain is to fast and mobile for froch as he has a weak enough chin for froch to take advantage of. I reckon it is a pretty 50/50 fight, in regards to froch i don't think he shoudl saty in the uk i think a fight with taylor in maerica would be ideal.
I do however think taylor is the best fight out there after kessler, **** pavlik and hopkins.

No -- I did not miss your point. Normally the challenger has to do the travelling. In my first two posts I was stating what Dibella said, more than giving my own opinion. Before Froch/Pascal, Dibella said if Pascal won, they would be happy to fight him in his backyard because it would make sense financially. If Froch won, the fight would only make money in Great Britian, and Dibella said he would not ask Jermain to fight there.
