Just read at the scene that Dibella and Taylor are very intersted in fight Cal the Cobra Froch in early 09 for the WBC super middle weight title .Dibella states that if Carl is willing to come to America they will make the fight ..And from what I read Froch would like the fight to take place at MSG ! Who wins and why DISCUSS !

I thought this would have been a walk over for Taylor before there last fights. Taylor looked real bad against lacy and i just cant see how froch doesnt mess him up. Froch i thought was abit **** to be nice until his last fight where he showed power and a great chin. It depends which taylor shows up to be honest. I wish i didnt vote before i wrote this now

Froch has the power to stop him without question.Froch has more one punch power than Pavlik who stopped Taylor.Taylor has more polished boxing skills and could win a decision if Froch wasn't able to land his right flush.I still don't think Taylor wants any part of this fight

Froch takes HBOs poster boy out early. No gift decisions this time.

If Froch keeps those hands down it could be a long night for him. Jab, jab right, all night. Taylor is tall enough and long enough to keep him away, if he fights a good fight.

And I disagree LHL, I thought Taylor looked pretty good against Lacy, his jab was looking real nice, which would be instrumental in beating Froch.

After watching Pascal-Froch the second time, I'm less high on Froch's chances of beating Taylor than I originally was. He's certainly big and strong enough to get the job done, and his chin should keep him out of harm's way, but DAMN he's easy to hit and the lazy left hand is a real problem, or could be one, against someone as fast and crisp as Taylor can be when he's on.

I still slightly favor Froch because I could see him catching Taylor late when Taylor does his late-rounds ODLH fade job, but I could also see Taylor just 1-2'ing Froch for 12 rounds and getting a UD.

Taylor needs to come out of his own country for once.
Then he will get beaten by all the top European fighters.

What fight were you watching. The only person that looked bad was Lacy. Jermain beat him from Pillar to Post. His stamina looked good and he carried the weight well.

Now i havent seen Froch but i do know JT looked good las fight.

This poll should not even be close, and it wouldn't be if there weren't so many posters drinking the kool-aid. Froch beat an unproven prospect who was ****ing rocked by Omar Pitman. Pitman has a 38% KO ratio against **** poor competition. Froch hit Pascal with everything he knows how to throw, but couldn't stop him.

Taylor took a freaking beating and a half in the 3rd round of the first Pavlik fight, and then came back and won the very next round. Froch is not knocking Taylor out.

JT is way to fast and mobile for Froch. Carl's offense is sloppy, and his defense -- well -- what defense.

Taylor controls this fight with his jab, while frequently blisterring froch with highlight reel combo's. He'll drop some rounds because I would expect Froch to catch him here and there, but Taylor takes it 9-3 or 8-4, something like that.

My thoughts exactly , Taylor is the same size, and much better technically and much much faster.
