I know he wont get the credit and statistics will be pushed in my face!
hey that DLH was shot, wrong game plan, weight etc..... but what about Roy Jones....... **** all that. This guy is the one, enjoy it! this is our great fighter we are witnessing a true ATG.

    All the rest is bull****.

You cant take this one away from Paquiao, and what he does from now on matters little....... he has proven what he is and only a hater on a Titanic level at a time like this would cast any aspersions on Manny. He is simply the best fighter of the last 25 yrs.

Armstrong was the lineal/single champion in each of those divisions at the SAME time.

Regardless, Pacquiao seems to be the modern 'version' of Armstrong... not on his level in regards to accomplishments though.

He is good but there have been some great fighters and great wins in the last 25 years. Pac. is one of the best fighters now. I told my friend oneday that some fighter was overrated and he said, well all fighters are overrated if you get the right style to fight them. Anyone can be beat.

I do not feel this at all. My gut tells me he is in the top 5 of the 1990s, but the last 20 years? He did not burst onto the scene until 1992, and he sort of lost big in 2003. So for those years he was tops, and even then he sort of took the road of less resistance. That does not make him the greatest. And another thing, he was never in a great fight. That means a lot. Look at the generation of Hagler/Hearns/Duran/Leonard/Benitez/Cueves from 1979-1989). All those guys were in great fights and had legendary knockouts of the other legends. That is why that era is so remembered. Roy Jones will not be remembered much in 10 years. Hearns and Hagler will. Now we think of Jones because he just fought.

WAY over the top. Pac's achievement certainly puts him up there, but when you have guys like Jones, Holyfield, Whitaker, and Hopkins in the discussion, I think it is overstating it a bit. He's certainly in the top ten after this, in my view, but absolutely number one?? That's fanboy stuff.
