Haye would give VITLAY a dead arm in true Byrd fashion and make him quit like an Oscar*

Style wise they are worlds apart.

Hide's style is a total mess and his defence is terrible.

He's one of the ugliest fighter's to watch.

Even Enzo would have KTFO Hide the other night if he stepped in for Banks.

 Oscar got exposed for the fraud he is, and when Vitaly fights someone with a pulse he will also be exposed.
All this talk about Haye from Wlad is quite funny when you consider how hard Wlad was trying to get out of fighting him when Haye approached him.

just something i noticed about haye's punch resistance. he said monte's jab felt like a crusierweights right hand.... and as some boxers have said in the past, wladimir's JAB is like some heavyweights RIGHT HAND! considering wladimir does land his jab a lot on his opponents, and haye will be no exception, i can see haye getting wobbled like khan did by presscotts jab.

there definately are some similarities however i feel haye's chin and power are better than hide's. not saying worlds better but definately better.

it was a good observation by wlad because 1 thing that i started to see in haye fights is his love for his power. i thought he was losing in the mormeck fight until he got the ko. i thought he was struggling with a past his best barrett until he got the ko. it seems for haye to win it's a ko or potential loss on the cards.

haye has awesome reflexes, speed and counterpunching abilities. however like hide he does tend to try and beat opponents with big shots and also loses his balance at times which is not ideal when you want to face a fighter (wlad/vitali) who has longer reach and can crack big time. especially when your chin is not like james toney's.

haye CANNOT win on points. his whole style and mentality is built on blasting opponents out of there. he simply doesn't have the desire or stamina to throw lots of softer punches to win rounds. it's either ko punches or nothing for most of his fights.

that's a rather one dimensional gameplan he will be taking into a fight with either brother. i hope he doesn't because i want to see a fun fight. if he goes in with just ko in his mind he will just have a punchers chance and that's it. but somehow i cant see him holding his left hand up and trying different tactics if he doesn't blow the bros out in the first few rounds.

It was a running joke that Hide was KO'd by the wind in the Vitali fight.
Yeah, but Haye may be more succesful in the division, keyword may. But Wlaidmir is going to KO Haye early.

Haye could very well turn out to be another Hide if he faces the Klitschkos next. Personally, I think he has a much better skillset than Herbie but he doens't have discipline and style to maximize them at hw. I admire his counter-punching skills but he fights too much in spurts and his stamina looks highly questionable with the extra weight.

I've been watching a lot of Haye's fights and he really has problems taking shots on the top of his head and temple, not so much on his chin or face.

That could be a major problem against the Bros especially Vitali who has a nasty chopping right hand. Moreover, Haye's tendancy to lean forward and bend his knees make his melon an inviting target. If Haye's fight against Barrett is any indication on how wild he will fight the klit bros., he's doesn't stand much of a chance. Yes, he has good hw power and very good handspeed but most of his shots still are wide.

Had Barrett been able to straighten out his punches, stuck with the jab a bit more and maul Haye inside, it would have been quite interesting. Barrett's success in the clinch with Haye reveals the biggest problem Haye is gonna have with the jump. The klitschkos, especially Wlad know how to use their massive body to wear down an opponent. Lewis became a master of this under steward.

I guess Haye has a small window early against Wlad hoping klit loses concentration and freaks out but it won't stop me from challenging you to a 1 year avatar and public apology bet. :yep :yep

I reckon Wlad uses his jab, hook and clinching to wear down Haye early.

I don't think there can be a focus on weight...Sanders was 225, Brewster 226 when they both stopped Wlad. Haye would only need to slap ten pounds on to be at that level, which may end up happening anyway.

So it's definitely a style comparison, not weight.

Haye's nowhere near as chinny as Hide.....Hide took 'chinny' to previously unseen heights.
