But what has it got to do with anything? He is accusing Oscar of taking a dive, not quitting. It's totally irrelevant.

And stop acting like it's a big deal, Morales was facing the best version of Pacquiao that we've seen, he was weight drained and past his best, he tried to knock Manny out, its not like he was trying to stay away and then quit when he got tagged a few times, he went down swinging. That was the third knockdown and it was only round 3, he knew he couldn't win the fight and after such a long and hard career, the fire wasn't there anymore, and his body just couldn't do it. Why get up again just to suffer brain damage? A smart decision, and he tried his ass off prior to it. He aint no quitter.

Oscar quit in that fight he knew that once Bhops started really fighting he had 2 choices:
    A. Get KTFO like Tito or..
    B. Find soft place to land when you get touched in the body.

Have you ever boxed?? Have you ever taken a hook to the liver like Hopkins gave Oscar??? I'll bet the answer is no.. I have , it paralyses you. the pain is intense.
There was nothing fake about that great Ko win of Hopkins:bbb:bbb:fire:fire

Oscar was already starting to get worked over in that round. He felt the power and quit. I think Oscar was a good fighter, but he was not a guy who could take much punishment. I doubt he could have taken the punishment Leonard took against Hearns in 1981. I think he would have quit.. He was very good and Hall of Fame but his ability to absorb punches doesn't look that great.

Definately agreed. From the outset Hopkins was CLEARLY holding back. More than anything it was everything that Bernard was doing that stunk the most to me. Hopkins is no actor.

I feel the same way, but it looks like a liver shot and those are murderous punches. We've saw Oscar take worst it seems.

Yes I have to answer your question. I have been hit with every punch you can imagine in every part of the body you can imagine. That was not one of those shots. The shot barely touched him. Even Manny steward during the telecast said so as they showed the replay over and over again looking for how the shot could have done that and he has trained world champions at the highest level and probably seen more shots than you an me combined.

From all the ko shots to the body, I have never seen anyone smack the ring or act so dramatic. It does look almost like an act.... until, I realize that DLH really is pissed off and is cursing like crazy and saying "F***" repeatedly over and over again when get got up. The only other time I have seen him say the F word on camera was after the Tito fight, when he was going back to his locker room after hearing the decision. In addition, I dont see what he would have benefited from getting ko'd in that fashion. IMO, he was Ko'd legitimately.

I have always been kind of suspicious but then again I am a conspiracy theorist. Bernard would have beaten him anyway.
