Last time I posted my height and weight I got ambushed by idiots telling me to eat something, that I was unhealthy, yadda yadda... but I'll post it again anyway. 5'9'' 130 lbs
I used to be in shape, now I am just a fat ****. But all of that will change next month with my new workout regime. Height: 6' 2" Weight: 270 lbs. Prime Fighting Weight: 235 lbs.
:shock::shock: go eat somthing and other stereotypical shiznit. thats pretty good man dunno what you look like to be honest you could be a really tall bantam with a bit of pudge that makes you 130 or a 140 pounder cuttign every ounce of fod that passes you lips.
Yea you can sorta tell who boxes and who doesn't by such comments regarding weight. Boxers (amateurs by my experience) are usually a lot smaller and lighter then most other athletes and people in general and overall. Often have cut out most of the fat and are running lean on whatever frames we were born into. 5'9" and 130 is not surprising to me at all. A year ago I was 5'11" and 130-132lb.
that's my experience, as stated, and in general. Ofc there are exceptions to the rule, and yes are heavier people in the higher weight classes (obviously), but the vast majority of amateur fighters arent in those classes, and participation nosedives after middleweight and beyond. And the point was about people who comment on others, boxers, being overly light are usually talking out their asses and haven't a clue and using their own weight as a reference. The average weight for a man is roughly 190 lbs. The average weight for boxer I expect is a lot lighter. Hence the lack of comprehension and frame of reference for those who don't get it, people talking about 5'9" and being in 130-135lb range, and people thinking they must be powerless twigs...I suggest, don't know ****.
