Depending on the Out come after the 24th January bout with Mosley..
    Richard Schafer has said:

"We have to respect the fact that he's been fighting since he's been age 5, this is not something he's done only for money," Schaefer said. "He has a deep, deep passion for boxing and to suppose that you can just let it go after a fight. That's not something he's prepared to say right now, that, 'I'm retired.'
"It's a process. He has to go through that process with his family and when he's ready, we'll announce a press conference for him to say what he wants."

If he won the Pacquiao fight, it was my understanding he would pursue Margarito. That may still happen anyway.

he should fight either Chavez Jr. or Margarito in Mexico...enough of him milking any money here in the United States.

im far from a fan of this guy but despite that miserable showing from DLH, I bet he could generate another big PPV against the right opponent. He will still draw in Vegas.

After Roy's awful performances in Tarver 2 and Johnson, he still had a couple of big paydays

It's gonna take one more stinker to end his mainstream marketability imo.

What's that old saying..."Legends die hard" well this is especially true for their fans

if odlh wants a farewell fight, it should be against jcc jr. he should at least give the young guy the same chance that jcc sr gave de la hoya. and it should not be a ppv, just a way of saying thanks to all the boxing fans that supported him

I hear this alot. ^ Why? Chavez Jr. isn't a good fighter. He wouldn't be thanking me if he fought that kid.

De La Hoya should fight Paul Williams at 154. Paul Williams is a very predictable fighter, two jabs, then the left, then two jabs and the left. He rarely leads with his left. Paul Williams can get hit. I think DLH could catch him with his left hook, and really hurt Paul WIlliams. I know people will think its a joke, but I am serious. DLH could beat Paul Williams. DLH loves predictable agressive fighters.

**** a farewell fight, he just got his ass handed to him. ****ing call it quits and admit you cant fight at a high level anymore and that it is time to retire. Pacquiao can take his place as the face of boxing.

Yeah.. And a very good joke...:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Yall wanna see Oscar retire for good? Make this fight happen and you will get your wish. Paul will circle that fool with nothing but jabs for 6 good rounds until dLH gets tired. After that... CURTAINS!
