Comfort zone? He fought B-Hop,Wright,Pavlik, Lacy and many more and how is that a comfort zone. If Froch wants exposure he should fight JT in the USA and if he manages to beat him he would get some recognition and exposure.

i would agree with you if we were talking about a young fighter with a weak resume but Taylor is not a protected fighter nor is he inexperienced. He is proven and has the best resume out there at 168.

Jermain does not qualify as a protected fighter. Other than that I agree.
Looked at from a little different angle, JT is 30 years old, and has a house full of kids. He needs to make the best possible use of the 2 or 3 real good years he has left.

Not to mention his fighter would only get 25% of the money....

No way that fight goes to the purse bid.

The WBC is the one that 'needs' this fight. That is why they were willing to put him in a title fight his first fight at 168 coming off two losses. They are now demanding money for fights they don't even sanction. See Pavlik/Pacman.

Much more money to be made in the UK than the US. Although, it probably is not about the money for froch. he just wants to fight. Not sure he has what it takes to beat JT though.

Your so wrong. No Uk fighter who makes any money does so without the blessing of the American media, HBO or Showtime. This fight is only made one way and thats in the USA.

The WBC title, who gives a ****, titles are worthless to a man who was undisputed middleweight Champ. Taylor is the draw here and deserves and will make the lions share of the money, if the fight is made and thats how it should be.

This is correct these tittle belts are rip offs and shams. taylor doesnt really care about the title, he cares about how he is gonna support 30 people. Froch is easily beatable.

I dont have the facts, but I would bet that Taylor has a much bigger earning capacity than Froch. How much money did Taylor get for fighting Lacy and how much money did Froch get for fighting Pascal, does anyone know?

My guess is that Taylor got paid a lot more. Here is the answer to where the fight should be. Why should Taylor go to the UK to fight for less money than what he is used to?

Froch KO's Taylor allday long. Kessler would be a very tough fight.

I'd like to see Froch defend his title here in the UK atleast once (mainly so I could definitely go again) but I understand that it would boost his profile to fight over in the states, if he fought at MSG i would definitely try and go there (even if I had to rob a bank!)

That were still correct in the winning fighter.

And I don't think Taylor of all people can try to get on his moral high horse about winning very tight decisions, can he? Perhaps he's more afraid he won't get that extra point or two 'head start' that he seems to have begun fights with?

If I was Froch I would want to go to the states to fight Taylor and increse his rep. But at the same time would the fight sell more tickets there or here Im not sure.
If Taylor wants the belt should he come and get it I dont think thats a big ask.
From a fans point of view this fight should happen and I think froch will be up for it. Could it even happen at the forest ground ?
