Boricua Nation. Is this a potential factor/influence on the festivities?

I just re-watched the first fight again last night. I don't see the second fight going any differently. If anything, I think it'll be even more one-sided for Margarito, now that he'll have more confidence and Cotto, who was extremely poised and confident before the last fight, will now have doubt creeping into his mind before he even gets hurt. Only way Cotto wins this fight is if he all of the sudden becomes a fast stamina stud and is able to circle around Marg faster and stay off the ropes for the whole fight without stopping and somehow all of the sudden is able to take Margarito's shots, which are definitely going to be coming. Its not gonna happen. Look what happened to Cintron. And he had a much longer time to prepare for the rematch than Cotto does.

No...because Cotto's gonna embarrass Margarito for 12rounds straight he's gonna look like Willie Pep + Punching Power in there

Just like the first fight . . . it's hard for me to make a pick . . . because I like both fighters.

    I'll decide later.

    The poll is terrible.

i think Cotto could well pull off a fair decision win.

Don't think so. Margarito's style is obvious, he will apply it wherever they are. It's Cotto's style to be worried about in this one and what new strategy does he plan to apply, if it's the same thing then he gets stopped and earlier.

Careful you don't miss the point. All sorts of factors can influence a decision. Perhaps you aren't objectively familiar with the Puerto Rican fans, who are among the most astute and enthusiastic boxing observers in the world. They should be well noted. Tens of thousands of them will react in unison to the sorts of things that most fans consider an afterthought, like a single jab, or a fighter evading a single punch.

What could Cotto do he didn't do last time? No one ever landed on Margarito like Cotto did. Antonio got hit with brutal, precise combinations all night long. In spite of that , Marg didn't just walk Miguel down, he ran him down.

nope i'm 100% serious....though exaggerating, but i think Cotto's going to pull of a UD on him, i think he learned from his last fight that he need not exchange with Margarito as much as he did and he should tie him up from time to time, and maybe try to build his stamina a bit more then the last fight, but this is all stuff that can be fixed, it's not like Margarito's the better fighter, he just got the better of him that night and i think Cotto understands this or else he wouldn't of took the rematch

people are understimating Cotto alot these days, but no worries it will all be proven when they fight again

Was that not in the second round?
I thought he looked pretty good first half of the fight and he just got gradually wore down, Margarito's work to his body was certainly a contributing factor.
