I dont know how many fans Taylor has I would love the fight to be at the forest ground its only 20 minutes up the road. Is froch able to sell any tickets in the USA.

Why do Americans think we Britons give a **** if Froch isnt a star in the USA? Do we give a **** if hes not popular in the USA? No, what difference does that make to us? ABBA were never big in the USA that didnt stop the rest of the world from enjoying their music, if Taylor wants the belt then he has to come take it, the little ***** will get knocked the **** out.

PS, nobody outside the hardcore fans know who Taylor is in the UK, so maybe he should come here for some exposure.

Yeah Taylor has pulled this sh*t before - I remember when he was due to face Howard Eastman in a WBA eliminator. Henessey won the purse bid and announced the fight would be in Sheffield and suddenly Taylor pulled out to face Joppy instead. Looks like ol' Jermain forgot his passport!

I had it 116-112, however you could easily say the same in reverse after Froch witnessed Taylor's fights with Hopkins, Winky and Spinks. Bottom line whoever wins the purse bid gets to choose where they stage it. If that's Taylor so be it, but the reverse is also true. My guess is Froch would go to the States, he just wants to fight the top guys. Taylor, however, doesn't seem to want to fight anywhere it might get a little hostile. The silly thing is he'd probably beat Froch as well with his speed and Froch's low defense.

trouble for team taylor is no 168 belt is held by a american fighter , so his options are calzaghe or ?

    bute
    inkin
    froch
    kessler.

kessler is the obvious choice by far .

i disagree with those that say taylor has many options ,he does not.

bute and kessler are very hard fights for him.

while i feel taylor has froch`s number and would beat him in the uk, team taylor does not want to fight outside there own backyard ever.

Nobody outside the US knows who Taylor is, that is a fact, hes not a big name. Froch holds the title, Taylor needs to stop being a ***** and get a passport, why the **** should the american boxers always have home advantage.

no he should wait to see if calzaghe is fighting again and go on the undercard in cardiff.
would be a full house and make money.

i would buy a ticket if it were in the UK. Froch needs to realise beggers cant be choosers and pack his bags. To be fair Hennessey has said travelling isnt a problem.

In Europe yes, 168 is a Euro division in which Froch holds the major belt!

taylor is better known than froch without doubt.

buti am not sure how much worldwide sales HBO do anymore .

we used to have big american shows , showcased on sportsnight (bbc) world of sport(itv) both free to air main broadcasters.

now they are picked up live but at 4am to 5am in the morning on PPV sites , some of them with very small subscriptions.(setanta)

this severly limits the showcasing american fighters get.

rest of europe is the same , with the worlds top boxing tv market hardly showing a single american fight
    (germany ).

far east i am not sure about , but with many pacfans on esb it should be easy to find out.

froch at the moment is a uk domestic fighter only , albeit he is on mainstream free tv (itv) and would have got more viewers for the pascal fight in the uk than any fight covered in america this year.

    2 million i beleive is america`s biggest boxing audience for 2008 ?

Hmm Taylor was offered the fight for the belt and shat it , electing instead to fight Jeff (punching bag with arms ) Lacy in what turned out to be a f**king bore-fest. So off the back of that Jermain (couldn't draw a crowd fighting for free in hius back garden) Taylor thinks that the champ should bring his belt to the US to fight him. Why ??

Even when Froch wins the US fans will give him no respect becasue he's Brittish.

    **** Taylor !

This sort of thing bemuses me.

Why do we want to see a fight in a half empty stadium that is as dead as morgue when you could pack a stadium in the UK with all those crazy fans and a great atmosphere. I don't understand why you wouldn't want this in the UK as a boxing fan.

this fight would attract 20 times the interest if it was held here than in the US . Taylor is a fairly boring fighter and seeing as though Ali couldnt fill an arena over there at the moment i don't see why our champions should have to travel to fight in a half empty arena, if lucky.
having said that if taylor wants to be a *** froch should go after and beat him up in front of all the tens of adoring jermaine fans.

I don't doubt Froch would pack his bags if there was no other option. He hasn't done yet because there has been no fight big enough to warrant it. My real issue here is with Taylor. This would be the second time he's turned down a title shot/final eliminator because he might have to get his passport out, in favour of hiding in the States and being a stay at home.
