Where would you rather see this fight? Personally I am hoping it's in Vegas at the MGM. It's an amazing place and great for boxing. I live a 4 hour drive fromm Wembley but won't waste my time because I'm not mega rich and the seats I will be able to afford will give me a **** view and dull atmosphere. Football stadiums are not suited for boxing.
yes i think your right, i would love the fight to be at wembley so that i could possibly watch it, however you never get the same atmosphere and feeling that you get if its at the mgm or msg. i also hope its in vegas
Whereever you get the most fans. So probably Wembley. I really don't see the point in it being in America.
Yes I will make sure I can afford it. The cost to get a good seat in Wembley (which you will need) compared to the cost of a 4 day trip to Vegas and tickets for $250 (which is enough for a good view and great atmosphere for the MGM) is not much of a difference so it's a no brainer for me.
Well I suppose so yes. In other words If someone can afford a 4 day trip to vegas with good enough seats to watch the fight at the MGM then they'd be crazy to pay the same to watch it at Wembley. Just my opinion.
So how much would it cost us fans for the full trip to Vegas or the full trip to Wembley considering Hattons fans are mostly from up north and would probably need digs in London on the fight night.
to be fair though that then limits the amount of people who can see it live and i reckon you would be lucky to get it that cheap as i think hatton vs pacman would be a more popular fight than vs floyd so that might push the price of going vegas up as well.
Would they honestly sell 70,000 tickets? I'm not so sure and think 20,000 in the O2 would be electric.
they managed to sell out the fight at City of Manchester stadium in no time at all, so i reckon 70,000 against a marquee name is doable. if he's going to fight at an indoor venue, then i don't see the point in it being the o2 when he could sell out the larger capacity MEN.
