He can be great. Hopefully he is carefully managed The kid is huge too. On saturdays fight he weighed in at 154 on fight night. He fights ar LWw so I don't know how long he will be able to make weight
I'd say he will end up at welterweight, he has the talent to go all the way and become a multiple world champ.
At this point, Ortiz is an inferior user of similar tactics, and would get manhandled by Hatton in a punch and grab fight.
co-sign, his skills are still raw but his power is legit he can be great, but i still i dont know how good his chin is......so that might be a problem
Definite titlist in the making...Hard to guage all of his game and how it is improving because he just knocks the **** out of everyone he has faced. He has the hype and now the T.V exposure but they seem to want to use this and match him with guys he will more then likely stop with a highlight reel knockout. He is still so young though and hopefully his path to a title can develop him to the best he can be.
He got beaten by an Olympic Silver medalist who holds a win over one of the greatest amatuers ever...:huh.... :think Ortiz is clearly better suited to the pros.
Actually Ortiz is more like Cotto than Hatton and is a better sharper puncher, maybe Ortiz could take it but Ortiz is still untested against a top opponent though
