I think the guy is quality, in that i mean i would rather watch a Froch fight then any of say Winkys fights (a technical fighter). So instead of criticising the guy why not give him some props for the way he fights.

 

Based on what? Beating a "gone" fighter in Lacy?

i completley agree.why not give him some credit instead of putting froch down.he has a great lot of power in his uppercuts and hooks,and underated speed imo he has a good snapping jab,and would beat most supermiddles,mundine is a joke he fights bums for a living
people are so quick to jump on a british fighters flaws,you would have thought we would be proud of our new champ not putting him down

 

you got to love the new crop of lunatic brit fighters. david haye and carl froch. they throw caution to the wind. and its ****ing brilliant to watch.
when your paying to watch a fight they are what you want to see.
i say give them props for bringing excitement back to boxing.

 

if i am honest i was not really impressed with Froch's performance against Pascel. In my opinion if he going to have a chance of beating any of the big boys like Kessler, Bute etc he should have beat Pascel convincingly but he did not.

Although Taylor suffered two defeats to the hands of Kelly Pavlik, I still believe Taylor is a better boxer than KP, and is a major force to be reckoned with. I think Taylor or Kessler will clean up the division.

I wish Froch the best of the luck, but I can see him being completely out classed by Taylor. And even if Froch does manage to get passed Taylor, he has no chance against Kessler.

Thats my honest, unbias opinion! and I am English also so no anti Britishness going on here (like what the hall of famer and all time super middleweight great Joe Calzaghe recieves).

 

Add Amir Khan to that list. British boxers are the most exciting around today. Khan,Froch, Hatton, Haye......you're nearly always see a tear up

 

I agree with a lot of people! Froch won't pass the elite. He's not bad though, has pretty good timing and is sneaky as well. It's just that Kessler, Taylor and Bute do also have good timing, good power and much more speed. He won't win against Andrade neither. But I agree Froch is interesting to watch.

 

got to agree with you dave. kahn may have a **** chin but at least you get a good fight. it just makes the fight better when it could go either way.

 

i dont expect Froch to be champion for long, ofcourse that will have a lot do with his matchmaking. The better boxers at 68 beat him imo, his defence lets him down and power is less of a factor at world level - you cant knock everyone out.

Taylor is still a bit suspect at 68 imo, he still hva e alot to prove. Froch - Taylor is a good fight, hope it happens.
