Mosley says he's knocking Margarito out

I think Shane has the ability to KO Margarito, because he might be able to catch Margo with punches he doesn't see, unlike Cotto. I know he still has pop, which is how he KO'd Mayorga.

I think fighting Mayorga made Shane look worse than he actually is, because Mayorga is so awkward. YOu take Margarito, he isn't awkward he is slow and sloppy, but traditional and doesn't have Mayorga power.

I can see Shane winning a late stoppage or UD, I can also see him being TKO'd in 7 or 8. I don't think Jin would put Shane in a fight he has no chance in, but I could be wrong.

I agree with everything in this post. To again compare BHOP to Shane, people were telling Bernard to retire after the JC fight, he comes back and destroys KP. Shane looks old against Mayorga...will he come back and take out Margo? styles makes fights. I think we'll only be able to properly judge Shane after he fights someone of traditional stance etc. I think he may surprise a few people. I've been wrong before though...

Shane couldn't KO Margarito even if he was back on the BALCO juice.
Shane could stick 100 syringes into his belly and he wouldn't be strong enough. Margarito is an unstoppable beast at 147.

 

Sort of like your boy is running around trying to forget Paul Williams. You should see that video of your boy talking about Paul Williams at the scene about boxing. "I'm not scared but..." First words out of his mouth with Paul is brought up. The Tijuana ***** doesn't want to fight someone his own size, he likes picking on smaller men. lol:

 

margarito will probably out-weigh shane by 8-10 pounds come fightnight.

 

They say the same thing, except for one difference. Floyd was going after more money. Tony took less money to run away from him. Tell me, do you think Floyd would duck a career high payday? I didn't think so, but we know Tony will.

 

If your a betting man - bet on a Margarito pts victory over Mosely, thats the most likely scenario IMO..... followed by.....

After a close 1st 6 rds, expect Margarito to pull away from Mosely with Shane having to dig deep to hear the final bell.

 

I believe Floyd got the same amount of money for fighting Baldomir, plus the linear title, and the future fight against De La Hoya.

What is Margo getting, he runs from a 4 million dollar fight to take a 2 million dollar one and most likely a 1.5 - 2 million fight against Cotto. Margo is a joke.

 

I have watched a lot of Mosley and there is nothing that tells me that he can be knocked out.
