atschatschatschatsch What do you mean????? Hater??? I hope you don't mean I am trying to talk bad about Juanma. Hello????? Did you see my avatar???? I used to live in Caguas. I am a fan. Here are a ouple of links. But they are in Spanish. Is ths Puerto Rican newspaper and the argentinian newspaper. http://www.clarin.com/diario/2008/12/10/deportes/d-01819218.htm http://www.elnuevodia.com/diario/noticia/boxeo/deportes/perdi_porque_me_amenazaron_de_muerte/502691
Here's more from Medina gate, straight from Medina's mouth; "During the weigh-in they told me that if I didn't throw the fight in the first round, I wouldn't leave the United States alive...What hurts me more is that I was prepared for twelve rounds, but I had to throw the fight because I felt a lot of fear. I was nervous before the fight and did not want to fight. It is known that there was a certain amount of money being paid out if Juanma stopped me in the first round. I swear on my daughters that what I say is completely certain. They threatened me so I threw the fight."
something tells me he is telling the truth. he did look scared beforethe fight, and during which isnt normal. and the way he went down the 1 st time, you could tell he let lopez hit him. even emmanuel steward said that afta the first shot he didnt want to fight, it wasnt the first shot but the fear of being dead!
btw i just watched the fight now, i had only heard alittle about the two guys before/afta the fight. from watching the fight for the first time, i thought it was unusual the way medina just let lopez hit him, he ran all through the round. its not wat u expect from a guy who was undefeated in 68 amatuer fights and lost 1 in the pro ranks.
I just now watched the fight for the first time. Here it is, draw your own conclusions; [YT]HntlRZE7zjo[/YT]
That was the first time I saw that fight because I got the PPV after it was already over saturday. I believe him.
im glad others believeing him. like i said before its not wat u expect from a guy who was undefeated in 68 amatuer fights and lost 1 in the pro ranks. the way he started the fight, like an amatuer and then just let lopez knock him down
Dude who had some serious ring experience wouldnt go down like that, I think there might be some truth in his words. He fought like someone with record of 5-20...
i watched the fight live there was obviously something far wrong with medina soon as he got hit he fall apart looked like he wanted out of there
