Hopkins spent his time beating up on people smaller than he was, and Jones spent his time beating up on American hype jobs, neither leaving the USA anymore than Calzaghe left the UK, Calzaghe attempted to make fights, the others didn't, so why do they deserve recognition? for being able to cherry pick opponents?

Well it definately happened with Hopkins, and Calzaghe was always talking about Jones, so i am sure it wouldn't have been an issue, the American networks and fighters are in an all powerful position, able to neglect actual talents in boxing, at the expense of making their fighters ''appear'' invicible to draw in higher PPV ratings, while at the same time down grading most foreign fighters ( aside from Mexicans, Puertians etc where they have a large settlement already in the USA so it benifits them)

Well, enjoy your fairy tale land of Joe Calzaghe, "greatest fighter in the last 25 years". Ahead of Pernell Whitaker, Marvin Hagler, Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, JC Chavez, Shane Mosley, Felix Trinidad, Oscar De La Hoya, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Manny Pacquiao and Ricardo Lopez!! All those fighters come from different backgrounds and all proved themselves in the USA where all the greatest fights occur!

    Sigh.

Warren after Khan lost to Prescott:

"When my fighter wins, i'm a great matchmaker. When my fighter loses i'm a bad matchmaker and it's my fault".

Tells you all you need to know about him.

Well all those people have lost ( In Whitakers case against De La Hoya of all people!!)

Joe hasn't, and he beat two of those, so yes, all hail King Calzaghe.

I'd agree with the above :)

It's annoying...because in terms of ability he could've been well up there...

It's not hard to stay undefeated when you only fight 3-5 guys that have the chance of beating you.

I agree. I think Calzaghe or Roy Jones are the best boxers of the past 25 years. I think if Pac beats someone else good like Mayweather, then I might give the nod to Pac.
