Cotto (The man at the time and undefeated)
    Cintron (undefeated at the time)
Clottey (top 4 Welter with only loss a D/Q)

Anybody can discredit Margarito's skills but let's not forget that he is currently in the process of clearing out 147.

Who is more proven and has better wins at 147 - Margarito or Pacquiao?

That, in essence, is what should be asked here. Unless you feel Pac represents the harder challenge to Floyd due to his wins at 130lbs??

I disagree I think that Berto is simply waiting for someone to relieve him of that title. I didn't realize he was going to fight Collazo. He will not be a champion much longer. The reason I picked him is because stylistically he presents much of the same challenges as pacman. When you take a tune up you should be preparing for the next big fight. Quintana is the exact opposite of pacman and I don't think that he would be very helfull in preparing for pacquiao.

what the hell man, I you really want to see that easy ass fight against Margarito or see him fight the best fighter in the world!!! what is our sport coming too when the fans dont want to see the best boxers in the world fight each other. and Roach said the fight would be at a catch wiehgt not 147. Mayweather caN make 140 easy because he started at 130

I want to see the best fights with the most interesting style clashes. If I wanted to see the best fighters fight the best fighters - why don't we throw p4p Calzaghe in against p4p Marquez?

I just feel it's an easy fight for Floyd at this point as Manny is unproven at 140 and 147, even at 135 Diaz wasn't a massive test. Don't get me wrong, DLH and Diaz were very impressive wins but neither of them truly tested Pacquiao as they couldn't "pull the trigger" - trust me Floyd will be different there.

Why don't we let Manny fight Hatton, which would be an intriguing fight in itself, and if he beats him then we can all get excited about Floyd vs Manny at catchweight?
