Still how can you justify Margo rematching Cotto, compared to not rematching someone he lost to?

Bob Arum is Margarito's boss effectively.

Mayweather doesn't a boss as far as I know. :think

On paper it is the biggest win of the past 10 years, but the reality is, Oscar wasn't in the ring that night. He didn't even attempt to fight back after the first few rounds. It turned into a farse.

Margarito fought Cotto at his peak, and overcome great adversity to do so.

The best wins of the year:

    1. Hopkins vs Pavlik
    2. Margarito vs Cotto

Let's drift away into dreamland for a moment here. Imagine, I know its ****ing ******ed but just play along, that Margarito moved up to 154 won a title and then moved to 160 and fought and beat Felix Sturm. Then retired.

Do you think that Freddy would be all over this board screaming how Margarito was ducking Abraham and Pavlik, or would he be blowing his load that Margarito, a Welterweight, just moved up and won two titles above his ideal weightclass????

It would define hypocrisy as margarito fans frequently do day after day :deal

I think we all know Margarito and Williams are high risk/low rewards kind of fights, there's no mystery in him not fighting them off the bat.

That is a very good question
I don't think Arum and Margarito are looking for that fight.. but then again what do I know.

On the other hand, Margarito has waited for Floyd for years, Floyd even promised him a fight... a fight that could not be bigger than what it is right now.

for a Margarito fight he would. He left because Margarito would not fight him again and I do not blame Margarito. The same advantages Margarito had over Cotto Williams has over Margarito.

Williams beats him even easier in a rematch.

How the **** is that an excuse? That's simply the situation. You, and to many opthers, seem to think Margarito MUST beat Paul Williams before he can do anything else. Hey, Williams won, was the better man. So ****in what? Unless you hold that to EVERY SINGLE BOXER ALIVE OR DEAD why do you make it a big deal now?

If I criticized Mayweather for reacing out to Mosley, it was due to my preference he face margarito. I never and WOULD NOT ever say Floyd is a coward for facing Shane. If that's what yo got from my post, then you really need to re-read them or at least provide the quote so you aren't misinterpretting what I post, taking it out of context, or just flat out not reading it correctly.

As for Judah, again, please go back and re-read my post Reg. Judah came OFF A LOSS to a journeyman. I said it should have been on REGULAR HBO, not PPV. Or at the very least, Judah should have come back and won a big fight or two before facing Floyd.

Reg, we'll be able to discuss thing better if you wouldn't *******ize what i say and twist it to make a point I am not even arguing. To many Floyd fans here try to recall what someone said by memory and just **** things up.
