...........and you disagree with what he's saying? Then you're part of the problem. You are in denial.

  5. All quite correct though Dawson may well be greater than Joe Calzaghe. His resume is already nearly equivalent. Joe didn't deserve his decision over the non-peak Eubanks and some don't believe Dawson got a clear win over Johnson. Dawson beat a washed up Tarver and Joe beat a washed up Jones. Adamek is a tougher fighter than Kessler. For Dawson to end up behind Calzaghe would require an amazing amount of luck to get entirely through his prime years fighting only half ass competition (and never meet a single elite fighter at his peak over a long career). Head to head, the much younger Dawson would be too much for the athletically challenged Welshman as his hand speed would negate the grand slapper's.

You think I am over rating him? I think beating up Danny Green and Sam Soliman is not too shabby.

Please educate me, you probably know more about him!

Why won't Kessler's people put him in with Dawson?

Dawson spanked Adamek and Tarver and had a close fight with Gentleman Glen whom no one beats handily, except B Hop.

I'm not buying that Dawson is Calzaghe's nemesis or something...but this is pretty low-rent of Calzaghe. Seems a case where what's happened to him personally is then being applied to everyone.

Fighters like to think they'll be missed when they go. Not always the case.
I think Calzaghe will discover the boxing world still turns when he retires.

Big deal. JC came to the US and defeated 2 of your legends. Now I can understand how much that upsets you but it happened and you`ll just need to let it go,if you don`t you`ll end up bitter.

PS. Does the WBC or IBF have a better class of bum than the WBO?? :D

To the same number of fights into their career, Dawson has a marginally better resume.

Adamek, Johnson and Tarver very slightly better than Reid and Eubank.

If Dawson can continue to progress and win as many feel he can, then he can certainly outstrip Calzaghe over the course of his career. He's got a long way to go though.
