PBF/ODLH/PAQ/COTTO/MARG Situation Explained.. Haters & Lovers Step Into My Office

I agree that it's not as though Floyd was just never going to fight Cotto and Margarito, he was just waiting for them fights to get bigger, or for another one to come along but now that has backfired it looks bad on him if he comes out of retirement to fight Pacquiao when he coulve faced the likes of Cotto, Margarito, Willams and Mosley but he left them to do the dirty work instead of cleaning up himself.
One thing I couldn't stand last year was the people saying Floyd was ducking Cotto when they hadn't made an offer, had they? This is before he retired... I bet Arum was made up so he could carry on building up Cotto as the man Floyd retired instead of facing.
You say Oscar didn't lie but if he had no intentions of facing Margarito for his next fight then surely that's a lie?
Also, Oscar actually offered Hatton the fight, but he turned it down as he had agree'd to face Paulie, he would've owed Paulie compensation but he got respect for turning down the mega pay day to face Paulie, the number 1 contender, like he said he would. I bet he is kicking himself he didn't take it now, but a fight with Pac now is some consellation. If Floyd doesn't sit back and wait for the winner of Hatton-Pac and gets in there first which I think is pretty unlikely, I think Hatton will face Marquez, as both camps seem keen on the fight.

 

I am getting sick of fans who talk about money and risk/rewards as if they actually know what's going on, or a boxers actual worth. Pseudo-intellects...

Nope. I just haven't been feeling boxing lately because of all the stuff thats going on in boxing compared to what UFC is doing. I'm kinda getting tired of boxing because of its business moves

 

Man, boxing wanted me to pay to see Taylor vs Lacy, when UFC is bout to give me 3 great fights for the price of 1. I like the sport of boxing more, but I'm not feeling the business moves of boxing anymore. I'd rather spend my money seeing 3 great fights instead of seeing a mismatch dream match

 

Do you believe everything you said 100%? You may be right on some things and wrong on others, but I have a totally different opinion on all this than you.. I know how some fans like to defend their fighters sometimes, but I don't think all of those fights you mentioned didn't happen because of money and big names..
