Without wishing to jump to the defense of their rankings which are generally **** I see why the have ranked Manny so low which is easily the most glaring error.... his last fight was technically at welter so they are ranking him as a welter and realistically he aint the best welterweight is he? Oddly enough they rate him as such. Rank him at 130/135 and he should top the list. Rank him at 147 and I doubt he would make my top 20 p4p.

It's a POUND-for-POUND ranking. His moving up in weight should be beneficial to his ranking, not detrimental.

Always ignore it..its the best method.

It works on a very flawed computer ranking system that even the boxrec editors think is stupid.

Boxrec works ok for individual division rankings. It produces nonsense for P4P.

    Are you ****ing ******ed?

A guys P4P is based on the weight they fight at and how good they are it that weight. Manny aint the best welter on the planet. If you think he is you are nuts.

Read the all time rankings for a good laugh.

    HW:

    #7 Floyd Patterson
    #9 Larry Holmes
    #12 Lennox Lewis
    #14 George Foreman
    #21 Riddick Bowe
    #22 Jack Dempsey

Truthfully, the further down you go, the rankings make a little more sense, to a degree, but Patterson at #7 seems a bit high. I've never seen him make a top 10 list for heavyweight anywhere. With good reason, I feel.

Boxrec has THE most flawed ratings outside the alphabet gang's ratings.
