how many PPV record sales does hatton own??

besides the money for fights is in the United States not in the UK, they aren't going to make that fight if it airs at 3am in the US...

Won't be Floyd. There would actually be 'risk' associated with this fight, and we all know how Floyd feels about taking risks...

    IMO,

    IF Mosley beats Margo:

    Floyd vs Mosley
    Pac vs Hatton

Then the winners fight each other.

I don't think Mosley will beat margo though and if he did, I dont think he would have a chance in hell at beating Floyd at this stage.

    1. If he loses to Hatton then we have virtually no chance of getting the 2 top p4p boxers in the ring together as interest would just take a big huge nose dive.

    2. Even if Pac were to beat Hatton, that would mean more ring rust for Floyd having to wait for that one to finish.

Floyd v Pac is the fight of the decade & the winner will be FOTD so lets get it on before something ruins it. We can still have Hatton Pacman later even if Pac loses to Floyd because Ricky has also lost to Floyd & both Pac &Hatton have legions of die hard followers anyway that will make this fight look like Ali/Frazier 4.

    Bill Butcher,

You know how HATERS think right?! Even if pac fights pbf today or anytime of 09' If pac wins there is a BUILT-IN excuse for PAC haters. They will say PBF is shot and rusty that is why PAC won!

This is why I want to see Floyd-Manny first. This way, even if Pacman loses, we could still see Pacman square off with Hatton afterwards. But if Hatton beats Pacquiao first, there will be no fight with Floyd, and that's the real dream fight.

Roach is talking as if he were a promoter, could somebody tell him that he is a trainer?

Hatton v Mayweather sold 50% more PPVs in the UK than it did in the US.

The money for 'fights' is not in the US. That's true of some fights. For others the US market is dwarfed by Germany, for example. A big percentage of the money for this fight is in the UK

And for a UK fight to be at 3am ET it would have to start at 8am here. You're working out the time differences wrong.

Hatton will produce the most money for Pacquiao right now ... and if he can get past Hatton i'm sure that PBF would then give Manny the chance to make the highest purse of his career.

The buzz would have to be alot bigger and two common opponents would make the fight alot bigger.

    Let Pacman and Hatton fight.

Then when PBF comes out of retirement yet again, has a tune up fight and calls Pacman out. Pacman can tell him to **** off and let him have a taste of his own sidestepping, fight dodging medicine.

You got a point but Marquez to me is a great fighter and not a symbol of pac's weakness against counter punchers. MAB was a great counter puncher, he got a beat down of his life, to me Pac's struggle with Marquez has to do with Marquez being one of the great fighters of his generation and not because he is a counter puncher. I dont know if you can flatly say Floyd is greater to Marquez in every fashion. Marquez is def way more offensive than Floyd. Marquez to me has fought way better competition than Floyd. Marquez to me will be known as having achieved more than Floyd has at this point in their career.

Floyd too is great counter puncher so he should be favored as I stated before. To Flip your point around, Judah had Floyd confused and neutralized before well he went Judah. And Corley was probably the only one in Floyd's career who was able to make Floyd do the dizzy dance. Both southpaws, BOTH NOT AS A GREAT FIGHTER as pacquiao.

All I am saying is unlike some are suggesting Pac has a chance. Floyd should be favored though.

They both r big money fights. Hatton would generate more due to his style and grit.
