does Mosley have the pop to stop Margo in his tracks?

Tough call. It be foolish of Mosley to load up though. Better to score and get out against this guy.

i agree that was one of Cotto's major mistakes but i mean you figure that at 37, at some point Mosley's gonna have to be able to make Margo at least react to his punches.

    Remember, styles make fights.

    Cotto got good power.

Moseley got good power, and he got speed. Plus he got a good enough chin and strentgh to stay in there a tad second longer to deliver cleanly instead of from the back foot like Cotto. And if he stays in there a wee bit to long, he has the strength and willingness to tie up Margo. That's the difference between him and Cotto.

He will get some good clean shots on margo, and they will be beter than the ones Cotto landed. Y'all **** around if you want to. He might not back Margo up, but he will stop him in his tracks more than a couple of times. Bet the house on that.

But will he win? I don't know if he got the gas tank. That's the big question. It's all up to Shane and what he does. We already know what Margo will bring to the table.

Again, big ups to Margrito for taking this fight. (I don't see how Arum let this happen)

I have a feeling Marg will win this UD. Mosley is going to get tired in the later rounds.

With Nazim as his trainer...expect MANY tactical clinching going on...:good

He could pull off a points win

But I think Shane is going to make the mistake of going toe to toe because he wants to prove how legit he is...he wants to become the "IT" guy again...and he wants to be the first to KO Margo...

Yes, he does. It will all be a matter of proper timing.

I agree with your analysis and would think you would have more confidence in Shane since you laid out a beatuiful game plan.

The key to beating Margarito really could be pot shotting him and then tying him up. Thats what Cotto never did: TIE MARGO UP!

Shane can win this fight if he follows your game plan Rock.

Shane is NOT going to stop Margo thats real. Shane will be able to hurt him but not stop him. Shane is a relatively small welter who relied alot on his physical talents. Against a big welter like Margo he has no physical advantages.

Shane has to go back to the Mosley of old throwing punches in bunches with a strong offense to keep Margo honest. Margo doesn't really throw alot of leather when he cant get off.

Thats right, Shane would have to stick and move, if he goes toe to toe he''ll get ko , he has to outclassed Margo boxing, hang in there and avoid getting hit with big punches, like Williams and Clottey did. He has to do as much damage and or points as he can before the 6th, keep Margo from starting up. Though I don't think he has the pop to stop Margo in his tracks , even for a few seconds, for as much as I would like to see that happen. God damn Margo is like a ****ing Caveman like those guys from the Geico Ad.:bart

Only way Mosley wins is on points. Has anyone even seen Margo blink when taking a shot.

Like previous posters have said Mosley will have to be in and out quick and tie Margo up the rest of the time. Does he have enough juice left in the tnak to do it?

Props to both dudes its going to be a great fight.

If by blinking, you mean being dropped, then yes.
