I remember his quotes against Molitor

“Molitor has never fought a real man before. All these guys that he’s fought … 3K Battery, (Takalani) N’Dlovu, (Ricardo) Castillo, (Fernando) Beltran, are not in my league. I’m a real man.’’

“This opponent is nothing special to me. He is average. But this unification is special because I will be only the second Panamanian to do that after Roberto Duran.”

“Up on the podium, I told Molitor that I am going to break his face.”

Caballero's comments are doubly impactful with the way that Lopez has been decapitating people lately. People want to see Juanma challenged. The timing is perfect.

Let's see if JuanMa takes the bait. Does anyone really want to see him fight Penasola? I definately don't want to see JuanMa face another guy who's scared and simply looking for a nice spot on the canvas to lay down on.

Here is the thing to remember about Juanma though. He is a relatively fresh pro. He hasnt been fighting that long. If you are going to start matching him at the elite level his career wotn go another 5 years like it could. Most little guys arent that great past 30, of course there are exceptions.

This fight is fairly dangerous for not that big of a reward. If Juanma can really get paid at this point than maybe consider it. Otherwise build up another 3-4 fights with relative names like Penasola and make sure you have some banked dinero. Then think about getting more dangerous.

Certainly isnt...thats why he seems an odd choice except that stopping him would be a massive achievement and he will more then likely give Juanma some rounds.

JuanMa's only big win is Ponce De Leon and Caballero's been there and done that

Juanma is in a similar situation Floyd was in back in 2006 with Margarito, does he take on the big fella in the division that's a high risk/low reward factor or ignore him and continue trying to chase the lineal champion.
