    Alex arthur talked like he was the man at 130, and said he'd move up to 135 clean it out
    Lee Mcalister the nob thicks the WBU is a legit title and holds claim that he'll be a the undisputed 3 weight world champ via the WBU route,
    he also talks alot of other crap for some 1 of his mediocre skill set

    Beating Floyd would definately not have made Hatton P4P No.1 in my opinion, although he would be up somewhere near the top. PBF established his status over time with many top performances, Hatton would need more than one outstanding win to achieve the same.

    I don't believe Ricky Hatton will ever be P4P No.1, too much of his career has been frittered away on the WBU gravy train.

    As for being delusional, Audley is King. He is an intelligent, educated man, so his bizarre delusions indicate a troubled mind. I actually feel a little bit sorry for him.

    Amir Khan seems to have even more outrageous aspirations than Audley, but I believe his misplaced confidence in his own abilities is the result of chav arrogance, brainwashing and naivity, rather than psychological delusions.

    As for Ricky Hatton, I just think he has a slightly inflated opinion of himself, rather than delusions.

    erm......i know its British but lets take a moment to rue Holyfield's recent 'unification' statement..... oh dear. I say Audley, Earl 'this is my division' and Enzo Calzaghe (ok i know he's not a boxer but ..... 'Enzo Macc will end Haye's career and afterwards "i still don't think Haye's anything special'

    I have decided on JC for his knock back of a potential Foch fight because it would do nothing for his legacy. What a **** head. Froch would be at least the third best fighter he has fought, maybe if he spent less time hiding behing his fake WBO belt for all those years he would have a genuine claim to be an ATG.

    Similar could have been said about Calzaghe up until last year (obviously replacing WBU with WBO). But Calzaghe beat the best in the division and then went up and beat a couple of legends. Hatton could easily clear light welter given the dirth of decent opposition in the division and then if he beats Pac his stock rises significantly. Also bear in mind;

    Calzaghe may retire;
    If Hatton beats Pac then JMM's stock falls;
    Izzy Vazquez is inactive at the moment, a couple more months like that and he falls out the P4P lists;
    A win for Marg over Mosely wont push him any further up lists, but a defeat would make him drop dramatically.

    Big ifs, but they could all happen. Still wouldnt put Hatton at #1 for me but would certainly put him into contention. If he were then to go on and either (a) rematch and win PBF or (b) step up to 147 and beat one of the big guns then why not P4P #1?! Do I think this will happen? Not a chance, but a guy can dream!
