No offence, but that is a dumb statement.

When Roy Jones moved up to face John Ruiz and took a Heavyweight title, his P4P stock (and legacy) shot up, if anything (he was already #1).

He wouldn't have dropped from #1, just because he wasn't the best heavy around (the Klits, Sanders, and Lewis would have beaten him at the time).

I am convinced Boxrec's P4P list is based off a flawed computer generation... either that or its made by a ****** with down syndrome

It's just a ****ed up computer software package that doesn't work. No point paying any attention to it.

pound for pound is stupid. That being said I have no problem with a Heavyweight being on there because Wlad does have decent skills and speed for a big man.

Limiting pound for pound to just the little guys is stupid.

that is the most ridiculous statement ive heard in a long time.
p4p is the total opposite of wat you just said

put a heavyweight against a flyweight in reality the heavy will win but p4p means you remove the weight factor and match them based on there skills
this list is boxrecs overall p4p ratings all weights included so to have pacman rated 12 is ******ED. because he is the best fighter in the world put him in any weightclass against any fighter and he would win

Oh for god's sake cant you guys read??

THEY ARE RATING HIM AS A WELTERWEIGHT. His last fight was technically at welter so that is where they are rating him. I am not saying that is the right thing to do but that is what they are doing and why he is so low. Other welterweights... PEOPLE OF THE SAME ****ING WEIGHT ARE BETTER so they cant rate him as highly P4P as they did. Do you honestly think manny could beat margo?

Take Jones as an example... when he won the heavyweight belt if you rated him as a heayweight he was well down the list. Rate him correctly as a light heavyweight that won a heavyweight title and he is top. Rate manny as a welter and he is well down the list. Rate him at correctly at 135 and he is top.
