I don't think so tbh. All Marg knows how to do is step foraward. This also means less punch out put from Margarito and Margarito needs to throw a lot of punches in this fight to win. Mosley's got good power, but I don't think Mosley will stop Margo in his tracks.

 

yeah, finesse is what made him great; workrate and well placed shots upstairs and downstairs. Mosley just fell in love with his power and that's what messed him up.

 

anything can happen in boxing...maybe shots from Cintron and Cotto and Williams softened his chin? Maybe not. If Cintron can't make him slow down then I doubt SSM can.

yes but it will have to be body work that gets him the set up for the stoppage or the stoppage. his chin and resilience are amazing so he would have to be worn down to the body before the headshots start taking the big toll on him.


also castillo had a great chin but was eventually worn down from absorbing too much.

 

I'm not sure about that, but Danny Perez dropped him. It should be said that the knockdown was nowhere near as bad as it looked. (It looked spectacular but Margo was unhurt).

 

All the steroids in the world wouldn't help Shane KO Margo.

Daniel Santos never dropped Margarito before, Danny Perez did it when Margarito was 21 years old but Margarito won that fight.

BTW have you guys heard anything about Santos he won the WBA's light middleweight championship from alcine, but haven't heard anything from him since...it sure sucks to be under Don kings promotions..

It's possible but I wouldn't bet on it. The last time Margo got dropped to the body was when he was 18 and 21 on a headshot. He got up and won both fights I may add. Even if he somehow goes down it does not automatically equate to a loss because he's mentally tough as well as physically durable.
