Oscar is not shot, he is past his prime and he was severely weight-drained. And Pac is a very good fighter.

goes to show you that no matter what Pacquiao accomplishes, alot of people will never give him credit.

however, history will reflect kindly upon his accomplishments.

whatever happened to Oscar's height and jab that were his advantages going into the fight?

    Height don't mean sh*t if you're pac

The Pacquiao that you saw was better than what you expected and have always thought. Just admit it!... and you're not alone from what I see.

Was definitely much more to do with Oscar's weight than what Pac did, though PAc deserves credit for the performance all the same he was fighting a shell.

    Pac is still vastly overrated.

All his fights have ended by KO or have at least a knockdown. He hasn't lost a round since the Marquez fight and you want to say he's overrated?

The problem is that ODLH stopped throwing punches after the 6th round in the Mayweather fight. in the Pac fight he stopped throwing punches from the beginning.

He just couldn't pull the trigger anymore. He admitted that to Freddie Roach.

I'm gonna give Pac. more credit here even though DLH is well past it. I watched the fight the day after and reading some threads, and expected DLH to be a zombie from the opening bell, but he looked better than I had read. Is Pac. that fast, and DLH that slow? I think it's mainly that Manny has not lost anything by moving up and he's going to make guys look slower. I actually think Oscar would have been more competitive against Cotto, at least early on, than he was against Pac. We'll find out for real once Pac. fights Hatton and we'll see how shot Oscar is if he fights Tito.

Manny made him shot and flatfooted. He executed his plan, and that weakened dela Hoya. I'll attribute more to Manny's skills, speed, and power that he carried at 147. No other fighter in his division can do that. Not even the #2 P4P Marquez can duplicate what Manny had done.

So, imagine if it were Marquez who was fighting dela Hoya. I don't think you guys would consider dela Hoya shot.

I refuse to vote in the poll because as others have said, I think it's a mixture of both.
