The man beat one of my top 5 favorite boxers in Wlodarczyk.

Hr deserves respect in this fight and also being a true champ.

 

Who cares? You just saw a hell of a fight by both fighters.

If it was exclusively hardcore Cunningham fans in there it would have been the same thing the other way around.

They're fans, and they are having a good time at a sporting event, probably drinking all night. Nothing classless about it, and both athletes know this. They paid for those tickets, and those guys paychecks, it's not like they went in there for free.

You don't boo a guy after the fight who fought as hard as he could. ESPECIALLY when your guy won the damn fight.

That booing was likely for the judge who gave Cunningham the fight. That's not Cunningham's fault, don't give him grief. Cunningham got off the deck three times, you have to give the guy credit for heart. He also fought a foolish but crowd-pleasing fight. The fans should be happy, not boo him.

 

Unfortunently the drunk boxing fans werent able to act as chivalrous as they should have.

Is it nice? No. It probably isnt. Is Cunningham crying now because of it? No. He probably isnt.

If he gets himself a bigger fanbase you won't be able to hear as many of the boo's.

All I am saying is what do you expect from the majority of fans. They were just having a good time. Relax.

 

Exactly. People get on fans too much. They paid for their seats, they're entitled to boo if they wish. Period.

The fans at the Golota-Tyson fight were pretty classless as well throwing soft-drinks and popcorn at him when he was leaving the ring, although it was later said he could have died had he continued.

Fans will be fans. Booing isnt like they just insulted his mother.

 

I guess after the fight he had a few tests/scans done and they found some broken off bone fragment or something dangerously close to his brain. I'm no doctor and don't know the details, but his doctor said had he continued he risked severe injury, and maybe even death. He took some of Tysons best punches that night, and those hurt.

 

True, but still was classless. Even on a far greater scale then this fight, as it exceeded booing.

Golota was in there, not the fans, and if he felt something was not right, it was his health, his body, and his life on the line not the fans. There was no merrit to chucking food at him. Fuked up? I think so, but no need to get worked up about it. Just a bunch of rowdy boxing fans.

So if you agree with that, and not this, that is being somewhat hypocritical.
