right on bro. these calzaghe fanboys are delusional thinking that this victory was a fluke. this pac victory as a product of many things albeit aided by a weight drained de la hoya. but still dont be delusional. this year has been phenomenal for pac.

he knocked down jmm once. actually almost twice, if you count the chicken dance that jmm did after getting hit with an overhand left.

knocked out diaz in brutal fashion and was on the verge of knocking out dlh.

slappy joe on the other hand was happy enough to ***** slap two oldies this year.
you guys are delusional. sure, he is undefeated but answer this, calzaghe fans.

how many atg are on the list of calzaghe victims?
    delusions of grandeur. grow up.

I aggree, JC is a great fighter. His accomplishment speaks his greatness, undefeated champ for 10 yrs with 20 plus title defenses, had beaten top contenders, big punchers and living legends along the way. Only a fool will underrate such fighter. Comparing his BHop and RJJ fights with Pac-ODLH fight however, is a different thing.

there is no question that JC is a good fighter. the question on his greatness arises primarily because he fought in europe most of the time. basically ducked, ok. ok. ok. hid, from the top fighters in the US.

it would have been nice to see JC fight Bhop and RJJ 8 years ago. then his greatness would have been confirmed. Sure he defeated bhop, quite unconvincingly if I may add.

I can only name Bhop and RJJ as the ATG who are in JC list of victims but the way he defeated them despite their age belittles his skill and talent. Bhop while being some sort of freak of nature is 43 years old. RJJ is what 39. they can be grand pops for all we know.

there are great boxers and then there are great boxers. JC while admittedly undefeated at this point in time I think will never achieve the greatness bestowed upon pacquiao. I think the only people who diss pacquiao now are the JC nuthuggers and some JMM crybabies.

heck, even some JC fans here admit that Pac is really something else.

    1. Because they expected DLH to come in REGAINING 16 pounds of muscle.
    2. He has balls.
    3. DLH was NOT bigger than Pac in that fight. He was TALLER.

    You know, like Mario Veit?

Pac has cherry picked his last 3 fights. Joe is a head above everybody else.

Nobody said that Oscar was shot before the fight while most said RJJ was
    before his fight with JC.

Pacs win is seen as a great win because

A = he still fought a way bigger man than him, & embarrassed him
B = for all the ppl that dislike DLH & what he's doing in boxing(thats alot of ppl), its great to see him get the $h!t beat out of him.

Let it be known that OPBF just compared Oscar De La Hoya to Mario Veit.

Doin't bring up the betting odds on these fights. Bring in your opinion. Come clean and say what you thought was going to happen prior to each fight!!

    1) Calzaghe vs. Jones. WHo did you think would win and how would he do it?

    2) Pac vs. DLH. WHo did you think would win and how would he do it?

One other thing I've not read on this thread is that most of the fighters polled, BHOP for instance, predicted wins for Jones and DLH.

Pac cherrypicked his last 3 fights? Most experts and fight fans wanted Pac-JMM rematch, Diaz was a WBC champ at higher division and Golden Boy was at 3 division higher. How can anyone call that cherrypicking? Are you a fool or something?:huh
