By that logic if Khan could have avoided being twatted by Prescott then he'd have gone on to dismantle him.

 

That's the thing. Khan is very talented offensively, but if you manage to land a stiff jab you've almost certainly got him on the verge of being KOed unless you're a less than stellar finisher.

 

Khan has proved himself to be a top 5 contender.

 

But he has achieved nothing in comparison and has fought no one any where near the level Murray and Thaxton are on...even in his embarrassing loss he only fought a non tested slugger.

 

This must be a different Murray than the one who struggled against a mexican road sweeper and Hamidi. Murray has faced nowhere near the level of competition Khan has faced.

 

The bottom line is that Khan could dismantle both Murray and Thaxton but only if he is 100% disciplined and focused on the job. Too many times (***an fight included) does he leave himself open, still naive and raw. But I genuinely do think if Roach knocks that out him - which he will - he could stop both of them. Particularly Jonboy.

 

If Amir can learn to dance and get better footwork he can bang with the best I'm sure, I'm 100% sure Prescott could knock out anybody with those combos he threw, nasty powerful punches, that guy is totally over looked and under ratted, nobody can say with any degree of honestly that any fighter would have gotten up from those shots.
