Bad man my ass. What the **** kind of skill does it take to fight welters coming into the ring 160. **** he rematched Cintron hella quick, why couldnt he rematch Paul Williams. Because Paul Williams aint a 5'5 Puerto Rican or a washed up legend like Mosley who could barely scrap a win against Mayorga thats why.

    Get off his dick.

You're playing the "too big for 147" card?

It only became an issue when he beat Cotto, and I suppose the fact he's fought at Welterweight for the majority of his career doesn't change anything?

You're the true definition of a hater. It doesn't matter what Margarito does, he can clear out at 147 (which is precisely what he's doing), be the first man to beat and stop Cintron and Cotto, and get to the top the old fashioned way, but your only reaction is "he's to big for 147".

People are going nuts because he didn't immediately rematch Williams, but instead fought the man at 147 and stopped him in emphatic fashion. To make it worse, the ones doing most of the moaning are Mayweather fans, a fighter who didn't fight one significant 147lb fighter during his time at the weight. get ****ing real.

He's fought the majority of his career at welter because he has no talent. Unlike Williams who is thinking about venturing to middleweight so he can stop picking on little welters, Margarito doesnt have the skills to do so. hell he tried at 154 and lost to guy like Daniel Santos.

Whens he gonna clear out 147 lol fighting old men like mosley. Didnt Williams offer him more money for a rematch and Margarito turned it down. Williams even called your boy the tijuana breeze. Said he was chicken. Margarito probably knows, if he couldnt beat a green 24 year old Williams, he isnt gonna beat the new and improved one. That swarming pressure attack doesnt work on guys your own size.

Williams is the man at 147. He won 9 rounds off Margarito, and Margarito beating up on lil Puerto Ricans aint gonna change that.

**** him. I dont got time for a big unskilled muther****er passing himself off as a welter.

At least Floyd is up front about his intentions of simply making money. He's good at what he does and is up front about it. Everyone else in the game (sans Manny) is a contradiction of themselves. Give the man his due...

That's why he's set to fight Mosley next and Cotto after him. His first excuse was that Williams needs to wait, now that everyone is mentioning Williams he's indirectly hinting that his "team" should make it instead of other fights. Didn't he go AGAINST his time to make the first fight?, I'm sure he can do again. :smoke

    sorry guys, it's the truth

I dont know how anyone can justify fighting Mosley.

The man hasn't done anything with his career since losing to Forrest.

Mosley hasn't won at 147 in nearly two years. Let alone fought there in over a year.

The man shouldn't even be ranked there.

So technically Margo isn't even fighting a Top 10 opponent.

mayweather should have fought margo way back when.had he fought him and beaten him, nobody would even care about margo right now. and margo still has to fight williams. as for cotto, cotto never really opened called out mayweather so that fight match-up want pushed enough by both parties. right now, williams looks like a bigger threat to pbf then both cotto or margo.

He was the WBC WW champion and he got that immediate status for holding the title or some **** like that. He had cause.

Edit - Kind of like Vitalis Champion Emeritus status but different, I remember it being something like that, because he's held the WBC title in every division.

    Margo-Mosley doesn't.

    Nice try though. :good

On a side note - Did you see first take, I want to murder Skip Bayless.

makes no sense bro...and you know it dont...so if floyd wanted to, he could've been any wbc holders mandatory.....**** THE POLITICS, i'm asking you as a man (and please dont hide behind crooked ass rules), WHAT DID FLOYD EVER DO TO DESERVE A TITLE SHOT AT 154, WHAT DID OSCAR DO TO GET THAT SHOT TOO :deal

understand eze, that it was all bull**** bro....

Makes no sense? Thats the WBC rules. And it was a fight that EVERYONE and their mom wanted to see, and it was WW Champ vs Number 1 Super WW.

    As for DLHs title shot.

I could easily argue that DLH should of never lost his WBC title(Mosley cheated) and thats why he got the shot from Mayorga. But Oscar was the number 1 challenger to Mayorgas title.

    http://www.mopsquad.com/misc/boxing/wbc_rank.htm

    :deal :good

And still, Mosley hasn't won at 147 in nearly two years.(Haven't fought there in over a year) And it's not like everyone is pressing for this fight like they were for DLH-mayweather. If they were I wouldn't care but I dont want to see Margo fight Mosley. I'd rather see him fight a live body.
