Let's say Summer 2009, 3 more fights in Alexeev's bag.

Who wins between IBF & The Ring CW champ Tomasz Adamek and top CW prospect Alexander Alexeev?

I haven't seen enough of Alexeev but if Adamek continues to show the chin and resiliency he showed last night I see him doing big things at cruiser but first he owes Steve USS Cunningham a rematch, it was too close to call and if Steve didn't get suckered into a brawl he could proably win so Tomasz needs to take of that before he can move on otherwise there'll always be people saying CUnningham can beat him.

Neither Adamek nor Cunningham will be a match for Alexeev in about 15 months.

Adamek looked very poor and mediocre in one of his last fights against a journeyman from Croatia, and Cunningham looked less than stellar against Wlodarczyk.
Both Adamek and Cunningham are good and decent fighters. However,I for one consider Alexeev to be a future superchamp at cruiser weight.Cant really see any fighter at cruiser who can hold a candle to him.
I may be totally wrong, but I strongly believe that Alexeev has the potential to rule the roost at cruiser for a very long time.

Let me say this, I predicted an Adamek win over Cunningham and I even put a small amount of money on him.

But Alexeev is too good, and Adamek is VERY hittable.

Yep! Adamek is very hittable, and Alexeev has murderous pop in his fists. He was one of the most feared punchers at the amateurs within the last decade.

    Be gone hater.

He proved you wrong in every sense last night.

You thought very highly of Huck also and tricked people into thinking he was halfway OK which he is not.

He's spot on mate.. what are you smoking? :?

Adamek won a good fight, but he was hit by a shed load of punches from a wailing- Cunningham. He lost rounds after walking down Cunningham and didn't keep the pressure on (lost quite a few middle rounds due to that).

He won, he fought a good fight.. but he did not look great.

Cunningham looked lack lustre at times, he wouldn't let his hands go and when he did he wasted a lot of energy and then went back to giving ground again and again.

Adamek didn't have to punch to put pressure on him, he could've ended it had he been more active.

Odo's hate goes further back than that last post.He tore Adamek down more than once in the past all while pumping Huck up to be something special.

Look where both fighters are now.....

Huck isn't better than Maccarinelli in any respect. He has very little skill or stamina to speak of. At least Maccarinelli has respectable boxing skills and power, and a win over Braithwaite.

None of these guys are going to touch Alexeev. I think he's a special prospect, the best in boxing and I've been saying it for a while.

There's a lot of hype around Alexeev, but I genuinely think it's deserved. I'd fancy him to win this one, as he looks to be a special fighter. Cruiser's improved a lot as a division of late - there's a fair few decent fights to be made at the moment.

Would you rate him above Juanma, even?

I think so. He's a better technician than Lopez I believe. He's more cautious too, which might not excite people as much, but he's got a degree of caution that seems to be instilled into Eastern fighters and it makes it extremely difficult to get to them and do any work. He uses all his advantages, his stance, his reach, his boxing skills and takes no risks.

He hasn't shown any weakness at all so far. He's only fought decent journeyman types granted, but you'd expect something to show up. Absolutely nothing, he shuts these guys out, dominates them, doesn't get hit and knocks them out when he wants to.

Can't wait til he steps up.
