the only one to beat pacquiao. the 'recent' pacquaio- i kno he had a couple early losses. El terible has that warrior mentality and i wouldnt put it past him to come back after a rest and cause havoc

I don't really care who was better between BArrera and Morales. I put them as equals but I just happen to like Morales heart/mentality/fire more

A blind guy could easily see Morales won the second fight between them

Agreed. Thats why I choose not to argue who is better. I just consider them both great fighters.

A blind guy who didn't notice MAB taking half of the early rounds boxing and ALL of the later rounds when the real fight broke out. He would have to be pretty ****ing blind AND a huge EM fan I guess....

I love EM too, but goddam. Just because MAB was better doesn't mean EM wasn't great. Hell JMM might have been better than both the whole time but that doesn't take away from my fan-dom of both guys.

Wake up call for Bernie4366 & Jimmie.

The short story of Morales & Barrera......

Morales v Barrera I (2000)..... Best fight ever, could have gone either way, a SD for Morales was not a robbery.
Morales v Barrera II (2002)..... Morales outboxed the guy & took about 8 rds, politics robbed the man of a clear victory.
Morales v Barrera III (2004)..... Another 50/50 fight, I scored even, no probs with the decision.

Jones & Pac beat Barrera... Morales has beat Jones & Pac.
Barrera has never beat anyone that has beat Morales or that Morales would not be favourite to beat.

Barrera was KOd in his young peak days.... Morales was never KOd OR EVEN lost clearly until his so obvious decline.

Morales was one of the best ever at 122 lbs, something Barrera has never remotely come close to at ANY weight, including 122.

What Ive written here is as real as it gets.... my conclusion........

    Morales > Barrera

    :good

I agree. It was a coin toss who would win when they would meet.

I like their trilogy better than Vasquez Marquez as it was a true battle of styles with 2 equal opponents, whilst I always felt Vasquez was just a little bit better than Marquez.
