Besides proving my point further with Gatti (thank you!) here is one article that sums up the Hall of Fame-and all time great argument for Gatti quite well. Also check out the search results that further prove my point:

    And much more here:

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&client=opera&rls=en&hs=Psx&q=Is+arturo+gatti+hall+of+famer&btnG=Search

Dropping f-bombs and telling someone they not know what they are talking about is hardly an argument my friend.

    Thank you!

I started looking at just a few of the guys and then the more I looked the more I became shocked to see how badly nearly everyone (hell you could make a case for all) he has fought has done.

Are you sure? I just went to his page and there's nothing in there that says he doesn't want Pac. If anything there's even an article posted in there saying he WANTS Pac and Floyd's family members(not just Sr.) confirmed it.

You clearly weren't around before it happened, people actually WANTED the fight to happen and even praised Mayweather for making it happen by climbing in the WBC ranks and becoming Gatti's mandatory. Now that the result is out it's a mismatch that no one wanted to watch?

God, not another one of these. Give me ANY fighter and I can convince you their record is cherry picked. Quit drinkin' the hater-aid

Augustus was a hell of a lot better back when he fought Floyd than he is now. Just watch the fight, which I doubt you have. At the end of the fight, Floyd says to Augustus: "You're a tough motherfucker".

Wrong. if showtime did fight by fight they wouldn't have a section called Showtime Fighters.

Can't argue with those facts. But I would like to see some data on the level of competition these guys faced after Floyd.

PBF has Cherry picked from 140 up. How the **** did he get to 147 without fighting Cotto? His name is "Money" Mayweather for one reason only. Now I should add that he might be able to beat some of these other solid WWs and JWWs but he has avoided them as a risk/reward strategy.

However, a logical argument is that until he beats them, he can't be considered their superior. Therefore, by ducking Cotto, Margo and other more solid fighters to fight Gatti, Baldomir, Judah (head explosion), Hatton (at 147) he has not proven anything at all above 140.

ATG, below 140 maybe. 140 and above, he has done less than Cotto.

Gatti isn't any where close to being an ATG. Your links prove nothing. Only a fool or nuthugger would think he was. Gatti is the ATG of one thing though...an ATG of taking ass whoopings of epic proportions.:deal:hi:

You would never give PBF any credit no matter what he does. Cotto hasn't done much himself won a vacant belts that's about it. Atleast PBF was linear at 147.:hi:

Wow, the ignorance is thick in here today. Are you okay Pimp? Because you need to read more carefully. You're actually agreeing with what the OP is saying and helping him prove his point.

Even being HOF is highly debatable. He's simply didn't do enough just a media darling much like Oscar.
