If he wasn't so protected during the 90s and he fought more top guys who else could've beaten this version of Tyson aside from Holyfield?

I don't think anyone could have, at the time. Although it's sad to say, someone like Tyson being the best at the time.

who was he protected from? you have no idea what you are talking about
he was in jail or out of action for 4 years...but before that he beat the most feared guy twice in ruddock, beat 2 of the belt holders right after getting out of jail in bruno and seldon.... then got his ass kicked by one of the greatest in evander...got suspended and out of action for another 18 months.... so the 90s he missed over 6 years with jail and suspensions......fought holyfield, seldon and bruno in world title fights....it would have been nice for him to fight bowe or lewis back then...but he wasnt being protected from them

I always thought Tyson had a very short prime, I think maybe a guy like Tua gives him a hard time in the mid 90's

Kevin Barry (tua's trainer) was at the Seldon fight trying to convinse DK to make tyson v tua for November/December. Would have been interesting.

    Lewis and possibly Bowe.
    Ibeabuchi as a question mark.

Moorer, he could've outboxed him and had no fear of Tyson, but you worry about that durability.

Witherspoon and Mercer could've been interesting bouts too.
Not sure Tua wouldn't go into his shell a bit from a Tyson attack.
