Wow, I had high hopes on Ukranian talent Zaur Baysangurov, a 23 year-old LMW prospect, currently the European Champion at 154.

But Cornelius K9 Bundrage has just upsetted the previously undefeated Ukranian via 5th round KO. Unfortunately I haven't seen the fight, but it's a pretty big surprise since K9 was beat just a month ago by Grady Brewer.

Here's hoping he can bounce back from this...although losing to Grady Brewer isn't exactly the most ringing endorsement.

Didn't expect much from Baysangurov but definetely getting stopped by Bundrage is a awful thing.

I was surprised that K-9 was fighting so soon after the Brewer loss and I'm more surprised that he won this fight. Good for him.

Bundrage may not be a world beater, but he is a great litmus test for any young prospect; looks like it's back to the drawing board for Baysangurov.

Wow. I had no idea he was that big an underdog. My guess was that maybe he was brought over to make the other guy look good, but I guess K-9 had a different plan.

All things considered I was shocked at the numbers. Tremendous win for those who took Bundrage at +1000. Opportunities like that only come along every few years.

I thought K-9 looked absolutley horrid against Brewer, so this win is a bit of a surprise, but Bundrage and Brewer are exactly the type of guys who can totally **** up a young fighters plans. Remember Walter Wright? K-9 sent his ass packin'. Anthony Thompson is still catching flack for getting blown out by Brewer. So ya, you can't sleep on either of these guys.

No upset to me. I think Baysangurov will be ok, but K-9 can fight, bottom line. To take a fight on short notice and perform like that in another country, agaianst an undefeated guy, it gets no tougher than that.
