if im mistaken didnt he say it was dying- in a tone in which he was sad that it was(he thought it was). I cant remember what he said but i know he mentioned the politics in boxings PLEASE DONT TELL ME THAT AINT A MAJOR PROBLEM!
How do you know what tone he was using from an article? Clearly, Bernatd pointed out that it isn't dying. What about the politics? I think Boxing is a lot better now because people like Don King are not as active in the sport anymore.
Hopkins, as usual, speaks his mind, and this time, he's correct. Instead of crying Joe, shut up and be happy.
Ironic coming from Borenard who can barely draw enough people to fill a ****ing phone box if he was the fighting/holding main event in his own street.
yeh i meant the tone in what he said, i.e i thinks its dying because theres so much politics and the rise of the ufc etc. he never said boxing is dying because its a crap sport. If you dont think politics in boxing is a problem- fine. if u want 5 different champions at the weight fine. its blown out of proportion obviously by the internet warriors with their keyboards like u, taking everything so personally
It's 4 belts not 5. You think a few keyboard warriors really affect the sport? They are in any sports forum, believe me.
the americans got ****ed in the olympics...the sport is ******ed....how is JC gonna rip boxing then fight RJJ
no actaully i was referring to the ring magazine belt- SEE EVEN YOUR CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't say boxing is dying but it isn't as big as it used to be but it has been like this for quite awhile now and seems to have leveled out as it is not declining anymore. As for Joe's comments on DLH, i agree with him. It's what a lot of people have been saying for a while now. No one moans when other people say it so why is Joe getting moaned at for saying it?
Everyone is getting a bit irritated with JC, and I can see why. He seems like he is trying to prove something.
