Holt lands a great thudding counter hook at exactly the halfway mark in the first round, most significant punch so far. Sharp 1-2 counter about fifteen seconds later. Offense from both sparse before and after, a lot of circling and measuring. Holt round.

 

It's underway. Hopkins and Holt both look fast, the difference is Holt looks composed where as Demetrius looks extremely wound up and caught up in the moment.

I'd give Round 1 to Holt but then again I'm tired and not really focusing. Damn you Yuri Foreman!

A lot of people say this, but I don't think it wipes the slate clean. Forbes probably should have lost to Bojado, but not by six rounds. The Hopkins robbery was worse.

Oh no I'm not saying it's right...just saying they tried to give 2 lb a make up call on that one.

Holt picking off jabs and coming forward at intervals to throw in combination. Few nice rips to the body during the middle of the round. Hardly a power punch to be seen from Hopkins.
