30-27, Holt, still the aggressor and good combo punching, still more active

 

Holt comes out aggressively to start round 3, nails DHop in the corner but backs off. They circle in the center of the ring until Holt gets Demetrius on the ropes and blasts him again. Back to center, Holt lunges and feints a bit. Hopkins throws 1-1-2s that miss or get picked off. More circling. Combo actually lands for Hopkins. Circle. Holt starts hooking wildly every few seconds. Misses at first, starts throwing it with more control. They trade stiff jabs at the ten second warning, then Holt steps in and plants a glove between Hopkins' and under his rib.
