here's what you do if you're Pac...fight Hatton in England..win or lose, call out floyd but you make him fight in the Philippines. Take out as many advantages to Floyd as you can. No American Home Crowd, make him fight at 140. Floyd doesn't bite, baragain with Bradley or Valero 85-15 percent purse farewell fight in the Philippines. Pac's last fight, you negotiate with either JMM or Floyd. Let them outbid each other to see who is willing to fight Pac for the smaller purse of the 2. Call it a day...:smoke:rasta:thumbsup

fighting hatton 1st is the best move for team pac as pac will be the heavy favorite and most likely take the win, pacs camp knows this, i see the talk against pbf 1st as hype as arum trying to soften hatton's demands. Assuming pac fought pbf and pulled a miracle again, whats the sense of fighting hatton?, all the talk will come up saying that fighting hatton doesn't make sense pac should fight cotto, margo or even moving up to mw. :verysad

    Hatton first then Floyd.

    WHY?

It gives more fuel to the bout. And gives more determination for Pac to win.

At the moment Floyd has SD win Oscar and KO Hatton, while Pac has KO Oscar...

If(the big if) Pac wins against Hatton, it gives more reason why Mayweather - Pacquiao should happen, they both beat the same guy, and both are pound for pound kings. It's all up to Pacquiao to win against Hatton to give a reason why Mayweather and Pacquiao should clash.

At the rate people here debating what fight will earned more money, i wonder if these people debating now are the same guys who ridicule pac-dlh as only money making fight, farce etc. etc.

im changing opinions...Fight PBF first, if he wins, go fight Hatton. If he loses, go fight JMM.
Fighting Hatton and then losing will kill his chances in getting a fight with PBF.( which i think will be the fight of the year!)

Back then if you say Pac-Hoya, Pac-Hatton and Pac-Mayweather....

    you get laughed
Hoya would beat the **** out of Pac
    Mayweather will school Pac
    Hatton will brutalized Pac
It's a joke fight that will never happen
    It's a circus!
    Don't be delusional
Pac is 1-dimensional(who the **** invented this word)no way he would last 1 round
    Your stupid

Now look where Pac made his legacy, we never know what may be tomorrow...

I'll tell you the only reasons I can think of going after Mayweather first would make sense: As of right now, there is no film of Pacquiao at a higher weight besides the De la Hoya beating. Pac's also going to be fresh coming off of that fight, and his stock is sky high right now.

Hatton's the more winnable fight and likely a better payday, but I'm of the mind that a fight between the two will take something out of Pac even if he wins because that fight has war written all over it. Take the Mayweather fight now, and he'll be as fresh as he could hope for because he took no punishment vs Oscar. He'd also be giving Mayweather more time to scout how his tendencies change at the higher weights if he took the Hatton fight first.

Even if Pac doesn't win, he's unlikely to take a career-altering beating vs May and he'll still have the Hatton fight there which will sell like hotcakes even if he's coming off of a Mayweather loss. Mentioning Ricky Hatton as essentially a stay busy fight is a dangerous move because if Pac doesn't look great in it, Mayweather has no reason to take the fight. If he can land the Floyd fight now, he has to take it because there's no guarantees he'll get another chance.

It is aggressive matchmaking, but there is some logic behind it.

I really can't blame Pac for wanting to fight Mayweather first. Obviously Pac's confidence is at an all time high and how could anyone really knock him for wanting to fight the best fighter who also represents the bigger payday. Even if Pac should lose to PBF he could still forseeably fight Hatton as long as he makes a good fight. If Pac loses the best case senario is that he loses close in an entertaining fight that spawns a rematch against PBF and later fights Hatton.

Understand something about what Hatton has told us. He feels exactly the same way Pacquiao does. He wants the best. If Pacquiao loses it's likely Hatton won't be interested in the fight. Let's not forget we'll have to add to this the fact that Pacquiao would have ****ed him out of the fight in the first place to go on top of that. Even less chance. Pacquiao needs to win the right to these fights, not expect that he'll be able to fight one of them after losing to the other. That's silly. The only realistic way to go about it is to take Hatton first.

If he loses bad, gets koed or dominated on the cards, then a fight against PBF is all but gone and Pac probably moves on to fight JMM. If he loses close then it's still possible that he gets a rematch against Hatton and still earns a shot against PBF. I personally think Pac would dominate Hatton and that's why he should fight him first but you can't blame Pac for wanting to fight the best fighter and for the bigger payday.
