What fighters have you liked that ended up just being overhyped fighters?

Mijares. I liked him, and he was way overhyped. I still like him, but he is obviously not as good as i thought he was. And definately nowhere near as good as some other people thought he was.

 

maybe Vic just has his number....becuase he looked amazing in some of his other fights, i mean Vic is a southpaw, so for a pure boxer like Mijares it's not exactly out of the question

i think people are counting him out too soon

 

I'm not counting him out but i thought he would be good enough to adapt to a southpaw. Espcially a relatively crude fighter like Darchinyan who lunges in with the left all the time with his right hand at his waist

Zab Judah. What a letdown he turned out to be IMO. Had talent to burn and anyone could get caught and lose to Tszyu, but to lose to Baldomir is ****ing unacceptable.

 

I thought ordinary Auldley Harrison was going to be the linear heavyweight champion.the olympics have produce so many of the legends of the sport.but nearly 9yrs on and he should finaly exept what people have been telling him from the day he turned pro.the man has no heart GIVE IT UP.
