would a mayweather vs margo fight really be worth watching

I agree with this. I think Floyd is so good defensively he will be able to pull out a decision. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Margo take him apart at the joints but I don't see it.

I would say that Mayweather is quick enough to get his shots off and make Margo miss.

He made Hatton miss superbly, and Ricky is faster - and as relentless (though not as iron chinned) as Margarito....... and countered very well.

I don't see Floyd stopping Margo - in fact I don't see any welter from the past 20 years stopping him either, but he would outbox him to a UD.

 

He knows his stuff BB,he just struggles to conceal his contempt for Mayweather.
Trust me its difficult.When you hate this guy,you really hate him.Its pathological.

He blames Floyd for not being able to make a fight with Zoo who is a contracted Showtime fighter.


Even though Showtime and HBO have come together twice for mega PPVs, Lewis-Tyson and Chavez-Taylor.

But thats Floyds fault that it wasn't made according to him. (Floyd hadn't even fought on PPV but its his fault HBO didn't allow their fighter to fight for the rival network)

I think the reverse.
So the best way to determine who's view is correct was/is for them to fight and settle it.
But one of them refused/refuses.................and it isnt Margarito.

Totally different mind set , Floyd would not go into the fight looking to hurt margarito with head shots , he would go in score and get out and look to hit harder to the body and get out.
Unlike cotto who tried to load up on each shot and then tried to move around the ring and box then ended up exhausting himself , any one with boxing experience will tell you , you can't do both with out tiring yourself out you ether box or you slug.

If you're going to box then you throw lighter punches and then pick your spots to land something heavy , Cotto tried to land something heavy every time he threw a punch, which is why most of his punches were ineffective against margarito and then he tried badly after round 8 , Why ? because cotto does not know how to box and pick his shots against bigger stronger fighters he used to fighting fighters weaker physically then himself.

Floyd on the other hand does know how to pick his shots and he would go into fight with the mind set to out score margarito and make him mis his own , shot rather then trying to land something hard and make margarito respect his power , because with a fight like margarito its not going to happen.
