    I agree with what you said except the Gatti part.
    Anyway a Maccarinelli win would do wonders for his case.About Michalczewski,he is a HOFer for sure.So is Virgil,so is Gatti

    But what else makes me wonder if how hes in it and some say Virgil and Darek dont deserve it tho.

    Altough I haven't heard someone say Dariusz or Virgil don't belong there I believe you there are idiots saying otherwise.Like you said Braddock is there,Tommy Loughran is in etc.

    At this very moment no, but after a run of say, Mac/Flores/Huck/Godfrey/Jones/Cunningham in a rematch/Contender IV winner (all winnable for him, btw)...how could you possibly argue against him?

    and as for gatti he really shouldnt be HOF

    but Gatti-Ward 1 should be in the HOF they should do that enshirne classic fights

    Fan base is what is missing with Steve and I think that's why he probably steered off the game plan and wanted to let the people know who he is. So he decided to bang with him. Despite the loss on the record and belt I think it was a loose/win situation. Now more people will know who he is and maybe start to develope a fan base. Does that make sense?

    I hope Adamek gets more fans then the majority of the polish people. Boxing needs more fans in general.....

    If I stay on these boards any longer I think my wife is going to kill me..LOL:bbb

    No, he beat one of the weakest LHW champs ever to get the belt at LHW. Then he got a belt in the weakest division CW in order to get away from LHW where people like Dawson (and upcoming youngsters) would be far too skilled for Tomasz. He is an overachiever, but definitely is not HOF now. He may be, but it is not in the cards.

    He's a long way off, has a lot to do, and being in a division with no big names is not going to help.

    He could have stayed at LHW, where there are much better names in Calzaghe, Hopkins - even Dawson is far better than anyone at CW.

    However, that would not help Tomosz either - simply becuse he couldnt beat any of them. He did the right thing by moving to an empty division. At least he can get some belts, and many casual fans wont know the difference.
