I am not a Haye fan but I agree with this 100%.

I think it is good for the HW division for him to step up.

Also, if (big IF) he wins it will stir up a match with Wvlad and that will make for more excitement in the HW division.

HAye has the power to knock HW's out, whether he gets KOed first is the question. Barrett put him on the canvass and Barrett is not a big puncher.

Haye was only 215 for that fight too. Vitaly is going to maul him.

If, and that's a big IF, Haye actually wins will you give him any respect or will it be "Vitali was inactive to long", "Vitali's old", "Haye wouldn't have beaten a prime Vitali", "Haye got lucky"?

Look as one of Haye's biggest supporters here in the US, I believe that he's bitten off more than he can chew and that he's going to lose but what would Haye have to do to prove to you he's a good fighter? I 've never seen so many people pick apart a former undisputed champion in any weight class.

    GO HAYE!!!

It's nice to see somebody that comes to fight in shape beside the K's.

very true. But Haye is a guy who knows the power of words and hyping fights. Mike McCallum in the 1980s always complained that Hearns and Hagler and Duran and Leonard did not fight him, but if he would have hyped a fight with them the way Haye did with the Klitchkos, those 4 legends could not have avoided him. I am not saying the legends avoided him, but the fights would have been more intriguing if he challenged them like Haye did with the Klitchkos. But now Mike complains that they ignored him. It was more up to him then the fab four of the 1980s.

    Why? What would it achieve?

What does Haye learn/gain from beating three 'less talented' heavyweights before Klitschko rather than two?

These are the kind of fights that need to be made.

Haye's chances of victory are, in the bigger picture, less important than the actual fact that a contender is calling out, and getting, the big fights.

This is how it SHOULD be happening. Not the same old faces getting title shots by process of elimination.

got to say Haye is as good as his word . I thought the guy was all mouth but he is sounding absolutely fearless. he said he wanted a Klitchsko, people thought he was just shooting his mouth off for publicity , but then he agrees to fight not just a Klitchsko ,but the toughest brother ( by far in my opinion ). would have preferred him to fight wlad myself , Vitali will start the odds on favourite but you never know.

Haye is really growing on me .

Nothing but respect for Haye I hope he pulls off the upset. I'm done watching the robotic Klitschko's jab people to death!

One more for the Haye Express.
