    I think a good place to start would be rematching Peter McDonagh, maybe try and get it made as an Irish Lightweight title eliminator. McDonagh's after picking up two very good wins and Gomez certainly has unfinished business with him after the first fight. If it got made as an eliminator the winner would get a fight against Andrew Murray aswell.

    It was ok.... Gomez didn't really get a lot of time to be honest. Slightly bizarre program... that was the first time i'd watched it. Nice having the boxers on TV though.

    One thing I can say is Gomez is not a lightweight and can make Super Feather pretty easily.

    I saw him on seconds out yesterday and he was talking about whilst sparring with Khan he has improved under Roach. Funny guy.

    well he was at the last ricky burns fight,in the crowd.so you never know ...he has tried to call out burns before but as burns said to me 'He is just looking for another payday'

    Gomez wants the title not the payday.... and as much as I like Ricky, whose an absolutely quality kid in person, Gomez has the perfect style to beat him.
