What I'm wondering now that the fight is on is, which network will pick this fight up and if it will be free or PPV. HBO has largely ignored and dismissed Haye until this past weekend so I'm leaning towards a Showtime airing for us over in the States. I hope this fight is not PPV. Should Haye beat Vitali spectacularly and fight Wladimir then I could understand a PPV. What are your thoughts?

Im assuming its going to be on HBO now that Haye is semi-tied to Golden Boy.

The HBO Crew was 2 meter to the left of me. David Haye was sitting maybe 3 meter in front of me, talking a lot to Luan Krasniqi during the fights.
My impression was that David asked Lennox several times to let him have some airtime on HBO but Jim Lampley told Lennox: You know we dont have time for this.

Before and after the fight David Haye was really a nice guy, just walking around (not too many people in Germany recognize him) and not bothering the Klitschkos at all. Just directly after the fight ,when he was walking towards the german RTL place, he made a gesture to Wladimir in the ring.

    Showtime would/will take this.

And sucks about Lampley **** blocking a potential star at HW.

If the Haye-Vitali fight is real and it was fixed on saturday it must have been real late :)
During the after fight party David was standing outside of the VIP-VIP part (with the normal paying VIP people :)) and chatting, drinking, taking pictures .....
When i left at 1.30 he was still nowhere near the Klitschkos.

HBO will be the top bet....... "Klit-Peter" was recently on Showtime because of Don King's deal with that network....... However, now that Vitali Klit has the belt, he can go wherever he wants, since his team / company do all his promotions.... I'm sure HBO will present a nice offer / deal to Vitali Klitschko......

    MR.BILL

HBO's overseas' telecast kicks-ass over Showtime's stale telecast..... HBO is still # 1 in terms of production.....

This will be up for discussion.

Haye is semi tied to GBP but will most likely be self-promoting with K2.

Whoever makes the best offer I would imagine. It will certainly be in the UK - probably in London at a football ground.

I don't think they would fill the Emirates though........

Haye most likely isn't really enough of a household name yet. Then again, if they have a decent undercard it might work....

Surely HBO? Vitali is a HBO fighter isn't he? Plus Haye has the Goldenboy connection....

Either way, I think they should stage this at the o2. Stadiums are well and good but you have to fill them first. A smaller venue that is packed out and buzzing will always be better than a half full stadium, IMHO. I dont think Haye has the fanbase yet to fill Stamford Bridge, let alone the Emirates. Maybe he has, I'm not sure.
