not just haye has balls vitali has too for taking on a fast younger and hungry boxer.
vitali is only one fight in back from retirement and this is a very brave option for him too.
i am actually excited about this fight and i haven`t said that about a heavy weight bout in some years.

Hayes earned it... instead of pissing around doing nothing he went after the best, making some noise and made one of the most intriguing heavyweight fights in recent memory happen.... much props to him even if i am rooting for vitali.

Fair play to him to be honest.

I'll be honest in admitting I don't like him and was one of those who'd say "who is he at HW? and that he should work his way up to be the challenger". But Hatton moved up and fought PBF, Joe moved up and fought Hopkins etc. So while my opinion of him hasn't changed, good for him for managing to get a big payday, I think thats all this fight will be for him, I really can't see him getting past the mid rounds.

I guess one more fight at heavyweight wouldn't necessarily make much difference. Maybe he is ready. I hope so as would love to see him win

Im glad Haye took a step like this...I think if continued to fight journeyman and fringe contenders he would eventually underrate one and get outlasted by them...probably against someone not that good.

I say go all out and see what happens.

Im not really a Haye fan per se and Its not as though I dislike Vitali but I actually want the see Haye win this for some reason.

I am surprised like he's announcing his meeting with Vitali without "dotting the I's and crossing the T's". Seems like he wants to prove something to the World and to himself at every moment... I'm sorry but planning to be in the same ring with the best is not enough to make me have more or less respect. I have very clear in my mind what and where is the borderline between the talk and the walk. Haye talks the talk and say's he'll be walking the walk but what if he finds out that he's walking into a situation where he has to go back in all his previous words? - remember Peter and many, many more - at this present moment, Haye is a courageous and gifted Heavyweight who loves to talk, that's all there is to it and I can go back in my words as soon as Haye proves me wrong.
